New Video: Mike Towers – “Cash In Hand”

Mike Towers first caught his buzz in the underground circuit after his Soundcloud page went viral. Since then, the Puerto Rican MC has been locked in the studio putting the finishing touches on his highly anticipated mixtape, El Fin Del Principio (The End of the Beginning).
With the project nearing release, Towers, who is closely affiliated with French Montana’s camp, taps director Kid Art for cinematic style video for his first single “Dinero En Mano,” (Cash In Hand.)
The clip, which was premiered by Vibe earlier, finds the 20-year-old prodigy playing the role of boss as he puts his money first.
When speaking to Vibe on the premise of the record, Mike Towers had this to say.

“‘Dinero En Mano’ centers around the idea that men, both, of honest and illegal work share a monetary instinct and desire to gain wealth. Everybody ‘trusts in God,’ but no one — good or bad — puts faith in the next man when it comes to what is theirs.”

VIBE said:

Someone turned the Panaramera stereo up while all of this was happening and the Remy Boyz nonchalantly began mouthing words to their records as a cameraman shoots the crew having a ball. Fetty had a solid twenty large in cash in his pocket, and mimicked infamous “the money phone” a few times. It was awesome.

Vin Diesel Covers VIBE Magazine’s Digital Issue: Talks Furious 7, Paul Walker & more

“I made a promise to [Paul Walker] that I’d do everything to make [Furious 7] the best movie in history. And here we are with one of the most groundbreaking, important films of the millennium.” – Vin Diesel

On the heels of what may be the greatest installment within the FURIOUS 7 franchise, Vin Diesel sat down with VIBE Magazine to talk all things FURIOUS. During an emotional segment of the interview, Vin relives a memory of Paul Walker:

“The person that used to challenge me the most was Paul Walker. Every time I’d come out of a movie premiere we’d leave everybody else and it’d just be him and I to the side. And he’d always tell me, “The best one is still in the can.” And when the tragedy happened, I made a promise to him that I would do everything to make this the best movie in history.”

Vin also touches on the conception of the FURIOUS franchise stemming from a 1998 VIBE article:

“It’s really wild that you can trace The Fast & The Furious back to a VIBE article. Very cool. When I first got the call to meet with Rob Cohen, who was an executive at the time at Universal, they got this idea about “Racer X,” a film spotlighting that underground illegal street racing culture.”

Michelle Rodriguez also talked with VIBE recently and stated that she wants Rihanna to join the FURIOUS cast.

How EPIC would that be right?!
