In the music video, a guy tries to throw some game towards ALUS and her friends, and the results take a wrong turn he never would have expected. Let’s just say, that he definitely learned his lesson due to the outcome at the end.

Also, we’re loving the TLC “No Scrubs” inspired banger and the video does the song justice.

New Music: Eric Bellinger feat. T-Boz – “Creep” (prod. by L&F)

eric and t-boz creep song

Eric Bellinger calls on TLC‘s T-Boz to reworked his version of the legendary 1994 hit song “Creep.” Adding in the original Dallas Austin-produced track, Eric taps producer duo L&F [Big Sean, Trey Songz] to infuse their current repertoire into the mix, delivering what just might be the next hit.

“I’m really big on my features making sense rather than just throwing random artists on songs just to say we collabed. Lol! When I heard the ‘Creep’ flip I immediately knew I had to at least try to get T-Boz on it since that was her solo song with legendary female pop group TLC!!! Luckily, when she heard the record she loved it! Hopefully the fans will too!”

T-Boz chimes-in with her signature tone just as she never left, adding her flavor to the track with a more current approach. She sound great! Could this mean more collabs between Eric and T-Boz? We hope so!

Check out the song below:

EB’s “Creep” will appear on his upcoming EP Cuffing Season, which is out on July 17th via 300 Entertainment /YFS Music.

#HappyBirthdayLeftEye: Our Favorite Videos Featuring Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes

Remembering Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes

Today we remember Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes on what would be the her 44th birthday.

FLY Question Of The Week: Are TLC considered scrubs for soliciting money from their fans to fund their last album?

The year was 1999, and we partied like it was 1999 as we spent our last year on earth (according to conspiracy theorist) living life to the fullest. “No Scrubs” by oh so popular girl group TLC off their album FanMail RULED the air waves, as the ladies declared they could do without men who could not provide for themselves or anyone else. That’s what the song was about right? Released in January 1999 as the album’s first single, “No Scrubs” became TLC’s third number-one single and eighth top 10 single on the Billboard Hot 100. It also earned them their second Grammy nomination for Record of the Year.

“No Scrubs” is one of TLC’s signature songs and was the second biggest Hot 100 single of 1999, according to Billboard ’s Year-End Charts.

If you don’t have a car and you’re walking
Oh yes, son, I’m talking to you
If you live at home with your mamma
Oh yes, son, I’m talking to you (baby)
If you have a shorty but you don’t show love
Oh yes, son, I’m talking to you
Wanna get with me with no money
Oh no, I don’t want, no (oh)

Fast Forward to 2015. Unfortunately, at the present time one of the members of TLC, Left Eye, has left us to be with the Lord. R.I.P. Left Eye. TLC have not since recorded, and although T-Boz & Chilli pop up on your occasional award show, open bar or throwback concert, they have fallen back from creating music of their own. Until now that is.

The ladies of TLC are ready to record their last and final album, but a few things are missing, mainly a major record deal and more importantly, money. So the ladies of TLC have decided to start a kick starter to raise funds for their last album with a solicitation price of 150,000. Although we know albums can be pricey, considering producers, production, studio time, etc… we can’t help but ask ourselves this question … Are TLC considered scrubs for soliciting money from their fans to fund their last album?

Screen shot 2015-01-23 at 12.08.47 PM

Our Guy @RealLifeKaz of made a statement on Twitter the other day that made us think about this even more. Why not drop the 150K out of pocket? Isn’t that what a NON-scrub would do? Or, is it ok to switch up and be a scrub when you need to be?

Now, we’d like to know, What are your thoughts?
