Vedo Gets Personal with “In My Feelings”

The Voice alum, singer/songwriter Vedo drops his much-anticipated single “In My feelings”, which is already gaining quite the buzz since its official release. The track was birthed from his new EP State of Mind and produced by Mello The Producer.

Vedo is known for not only covering mounds of songs but he’s also known for his precise vocals, which are praised by the one and only, Usher.

“In My Feelings” is a catchy tune that entails a secret love affair that seems to pop-off when alcohol is involved.

Watch: Usher, Missy Elliot, Pharrell & The Weeknd Perform On ‘The Voice’ Finale

Last night’s 9th season finale of The Voice was quite the show! Talk about a free concert all wrapped into one!

Usher and ‘The Voice’ contestant and now winner, Jordan Smith graced the stage with an epic duet of Raymond & David Guetta’s chart-topping hit single “Without You.”

The Weeknd, is no stranger to our TV screens and radio, as he performed a medley of his hits; “I Can’t Feel My Face”, “The Hills” and “Earned It”.

Billboard‘s Innovator Award recipient, Missy Elliot and #TheVoice competition judge, Pharrell Williams both served up their new collab-single “WTF.”

NEW VIDEO: R. CITY FEAT. ADAM LEVINE – “LOCKED AWAY”

From working on chart-topping hits for artists like: Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Becky G., Fergie, Usher, Jamie Fox, Mila J., Fifth Harmony, Juicy J, Drake and more — R. City steps back into the light with more of their personal music. Today, the duo chimes-in with a new visual to the official hit single “Locked Away” featuring Maroon 5 and The Voice‘s Adam Levine.

The St. Thomas natives will be dropping a new EP later this summer via Dr. Luke’s Kemosabe Records/RCA Records.

Recently, SFPL spoke to the fellas about their new music:

As far as music, expect the complete unexpected. We have been putting in time and dedication for years and shaping our sound to make it one-of-a-kind. We have finally figured it out and our music sounds like nothing else that is not out there right now. If you heard the first single, we want people to know that there are many different styles that make up Rock City, but its nothing confusing. We have a hip-hop fused with caribbean culture sound and that includes everything from the rapping point and the melodic point. The people are going to be really excited about our new collaborations coming up so the fans have to stay tuned!

New Music: R. City feat. Adam Levine – “Locked Away”

R. City has recruited Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter and Maroon 5 frontman, Adam Levine for their new single, “Locked Away”. The reggae-tinged single is produced by Dr. Luke and Cirkut for Prescription Songs.

While you may not be super familiar with R. City, you have definitely sang a few of their songs as the talented songwriters have written tracks for a variety of artists including Miley Cyrus (“We Can’t Stop”), Nicki Minaj (“Only”), Rihanna (“Pour It Up”), Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and most recently Ciara’s “I Bet”! This is only the half of what these fellas have done to this date in the music industry.

Vedo The Singer has capitalized off of many music covers that now has him at center attention!

First, capturing a huge fan base from his time on NBC‘s The Voice, the soulful singer has won the hearts of many, and is now mentored by veteran singer Usher, whom which Vedo was apart of Raymond’s team on the show; but unfortunately, he didn’t win the competition.

Now, with a new record deal on an indie label, Vedo is ready to take his career to new heights. Recently, the Georgia singer drops a new cover entitled “How Bout Now,” originally performed by Drake.
