Tamar Braxton is back with new music and in normal Tamar fashion, she gets completely real.
Today, the songbird drops a new emotional track titled “My Man.” The cover art displays a throwback picture of her parents, Evelyn and Michael Braxton, and is the first single birthed from the label Tamartian Land Records.
Based off of her father’s past infidelity that affected her parents’ matrimony, Tamar uses the past occurrence, flips the subject a bit and touches on how a friend of the family can come in and later steals “her man.”
If you have been tuned into Wetv‘s Braxton Family Values, you can see this season how the sister’s talk about Evelyn and Michael’s past split, and how their father married another woman just after 30 days of the divorce. Later, the sisters prepare to face the woman who changed their family forever.
Check out the song above and see what Tamar had to get off her chest.

It seems as the adored couple had a few issues that needed to be worked out and have decided to take a break. Is it for good? We don’t think so. To be quite honest, they were the definition of an ideal match in our eyes.
“Through the summer, I went on my little Eat Pray Love journey and it was a time for me to come to terms with my own truth and my honesty and I am not engaged anymore, and we’re in a good place.”

Nene Leakes is running a chic brothel? The Braxton’s very own, Tamar Braxton teams up with the RHOA‘s Nene Leakes for a mistress-themed visual for “If I Don’t Have You.”
Tamar spoke to ET about the inspiration behind the song:
“It’s about being transparent and it’s about being open and honest with the person that you love,” she said. “It’s just saying, ‘If I don’t have you in my life, I don’t have anything!’ Because sometimes we say things that we don’t mean, and people can get the wrong message by having an argument or not being able to express ourselves, so this song is just something that you can just play and let it talk for you.”
On Toni Braxton finding a “Man”:
“Toni Braxton need a man!” she laughed. “First of all, I tell her to open herself up. You know, don’t be afraid to go outside of the house, I promise he’s not going to ring your door bell and… be herself! She’s a really cool girl and I think she would be a catch for any man. She loves football, she loves to eat, she loves to have fun. She would be a great girlfriend.”
