Indie Pop/Alternative recording artist, dancer and actress, Daisha let’s us know what the “Good Life” feels like on her brand new cover and video. The song is a 90’s inspired cover originally done by Inner City, but remade by Swagg R’Celious.
The visual was directed by Shane Adams under the creative direction of Shalimar Davis.
Daisha talks about the concept of the video:
“I wanted to share a typical NYC-style type of night, while being out with friends. Nothing too polished, or scripted or choreographed, just a raw type of feeling. I threw a party at a warehouse in Brooklyn, invited my friends and we shot it…This video is about the lifestyle.”
About the song:
“It’s a feel good record about loving life. Sometimes you just want to escape and have 3 and a half minutes of bliss,” shares Daisha. “The 90’s feel good vibe will never die. I love to blend timeless beats with today’s sound.”
Last month, DAISHA become one of the new faces of ATHLETA GIRL new empowering campaign, “THE POWER OF SHE”. “The Power of She” is a bold campaign inviting women and girls to stand together, collaborate and put an end to undermining.
