FLY VISUAL: RO JAMES – “PERMISSION”

Ro James is ending 2015 with a bang, releasing his first official single, “Permission” from his forthcoming debut album. The track was produced by Soundz (Justin Bieber, Trey Songz, Rae Sremmurd) and co-written by Ro & Verse Simmonds (Kanye West, Rihanna, Chris Brown, K. Michelle). “Permission” captures the soulful grit of Ro’s voice, while still captivating listeners with its effortless sex appeal to create a sound that is simply enchanting.

Now today, Ro unveils the official video for the soulful track, as the black & white visual encompasses the youthful, mischievous and care-free bond between Ro and his bae. The video, which premiered on REVOLT today was directed by Aaron Vazquez of BKLYN1834, who has previously collaborated with Ro on visuals for “Lisa” featuring Asher Roth and “Get Out My Way”.

Friends of the SFPL family, the rising musician who has worked with everyone from Snoop Dogg to Miguel to Brenmar has been unleashing his unique brand of music since late 2013, when he released his three-part EP series Coke, Jack & Cadillacs.

“Permission” is the first single from Ro James’ forthcoming debut album, which will be in released in 2016 via ByStorm Entertainment/RCA Records.
