Fly Visual: Justin Bieber – “Sorry”

Riding high off of his single-cut “What Do You Mean?” comes yet another new jawn from Justin Bieber entitled “Sorry.” The dancehall-inspired track was produced by Skrillex, which finds the Biebs apologizing for a relationship that went sour. It’s even been mentioned/rumored that it could possibly be dedicated to Justin’s ex, singer-songwriter-actress, Selena Gomez.

The video, however, delivers a dance interpretation by a collective of extremely talented female dancers, and carries an abundance of dancehall movements — but doesn’t reflect the culture (Jamaica, Virgin Islands, etc.) at all in color…besides the style of clothing and bright colors. Could Bieber received flack behind the visual? There’s a strong possibility. Overall, the video and choreography is very on-point.

New Video: Selena Gomez – “Good For You”

Recently, ditching a Hollywood party for 7-Eleven with artist Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez releases her seductively enchanting visual “Good For You” directed by Sophie Muller (Beyonce, Rihanna).

Previously shown here on SFPL, Gomez shies away from the Disney persona that we’ve always known her for, as she grows into her own, displaying her more sensual, sexual side.

According to People, Selena says: “This song represents the confidence that I truly have inside of me, and I think it’s the vulnerable side that I’ve expressed, but it’s also the combination of just feeling myself,” she said Monday, adding, “It’s good!”
