Samuel L Jackson Speaks For All of Us In A Single Tweet After Ben Carson Called Slaves Hardworking Immigrants

Our new Secretary of Housing and Urban Development is already saying foolishness! Today while speaking to department employees Mr. I can’t open my eyes, Ben Carson referred to slaves as “immigrants”.

Uncle Ben what the hell are you talking about? Trump disease is absolutely terrible very infectious, and to think Ben Carson was a brilliant neurosurgeon at one time. Here are Ben’s ridiculous remarks in full:

“That’s what America is about, a land of dreams and opportunity. There were other immigrants who came here in the bottom of slave ships, worked even longer, even harder for less. But they too had a dream that one day their sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, great-grandsons,great-granddaughters, might pursue prosperity and happiness in this land”

But no one spoke more truer words than the iconic actor Samuel L. Jackson when he tweeted this in response to Uncle Ben’s dumb ass remarks.:

All this comes on the heels of our Tweeter in Chief, Donald Trump signing another executive order for a new version of his ridiculous travel ban that was shot down by the courts initially. We are definitely in for a LONG 4 years!

HBO Taps Samuel L. Jackson For Most Epic Game of Thrones Recap [Video]

As fans of the beloved HBO’s series Game of Thrones find themselves licking their wounds upon learning that Season 7 of the hit show will not only be shorter; but won’t be debuting in April or May like past seasons, a ray of light shine’s through in the form of a recap video.

Why would a recap video of the first five seasons illicit such joy? Well because it’s narrated by none other than Samuel L. Jackson. As expected, Jackson’s narration is full of expletives and is delivered in a way only he can.

Watch the hilarious Game of Thrones Beginner’s guide below. Can you believe we only have 2 seasons and 15 hours left. We are definitely not looking forward to the end of this epic series.

Fly Trailer: Alexander Skarsgård Readies For Battle In The Legend Of Tarzan

Alexander Skarsgård is totally ripped as Tarzan in the extended trailer for The Legend of Tarzan released today. The movie begins several years after Tarzan has left the African jungle. Taking on the name given to him by his parents John Clayton III, we find him living in England with his wife Jane Porter, played by Margot Robbie. He is chosen to travel to the Congo on a mission for the British Trade emissary, unaware the visit is part of a heinous plan put in motion by Belgian Captain Léon Rom (Christoph Waltz), to acquire riches and enact revenge.

Skargard is also joined by Samuel L. Jackson as George Washington Williams and Djimon Hounsou as Chief Mbonga. The Legend of Tarzan is set to hit theaters July 1.

Samuel L. Jackson’s acting range is something to marvel at. He’s played a Jedi Knight, crack-head, high-school basketball coach, FBI agent, police officer, business man,  corporate executive, John Shaft, a master chemist and now he can add President of The United States to the list. Jackson returns to the big screen as P.O.T.U.S in the new action film Big Game. In the movie Jackson is the victim of a terrorist attack forcing him to evacuate Air Force One landing in the wilderness. He is found by a young hunter played by Onni Tommila, who now serves as his protector. Do you guys notice that  in movies and television every time there is a black president the most insane situations happen? Checkout the trailer for the Big Game below…

[FLY Reviews] Django Unchained

Starring: Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, Keri Washington, Christopher Waltz, Don Johnson, Jonah Hill, Samuel L. Jackson. Written and Directed by Quentin Tarantino. 164 minutes. Opens everywhere December 25th.

Walking into Landmark Sunshine Cinema I didn’t know how I was gonna leave feeling after watching Quentin Tarantino’s latest film Django Unchained. The film already garnering its share of criticism amongst people for its excessive violence, portrayal of slavery and use of the N word, but its a Tarantino film duh. Before the packed house of bloggers, critics and taste makers began screening the film we were prepped by Power 105.1’s Angela Yee and Charlamagne from the Breakfast Club morning show.

Believe it or not this movie is somewhat of a love story, you may forget that in the midst of all the violence but it is. The movie starts off with Dr. King Shultz (Christopher Waltz) who is a former dentist turned bounty hunter looking for  Django (Jamie Foxx) because he can help him locate his next bounty the Brittle Brothers whom only Django has seen. After a violent exchange of gun fire killing Django’s current masters, Shutlz offers Django a chance to help him. In return he will free him and help him find his beloved wife Broomhilda (Keri Washington) that is the love story I spoke of.django-dicaprio

Django jumps at the opportunity of course to free his wife and get some payback. During the course of their adventure Shultz discovers Django has a knack for the bounty hunter thing and begins to train Django in the art of bounty hunting. The newly formed bounty hunting duo discovers after some investigation that Django’s wife is under the ownership of Calvin Candie (Leonardo Dicaprio) and is forced to be a sexual slave on his large Mississippi plantation called Candyland.  It’s takes a while for the two to eventually end up there in the story but the climax is worth it. Candie is also a dealer in black brawlers (mandingo brawlers) as well as his large number of slaves to do his bidding and his loyal house slave Stephen (Samuel L. Jackson) which happens to be my favorite character.django_unchained_dicaprio_foxx

Tarantino somehow finds a way to get violence, extreme torture, racism, comedy and harsh language all to gel together and make Django the great movie that it is. So it gets a huge #WELIKE on our behalf and we at Stuff Fly People Like especially myself highly recommend you hit the theaters for this film. This movie will definitely find its way into my Blu-Ray collection and I’m positively sure a lot of other folks will feel the same way after watching the film.
