We Like: Reebok Classic announces Golden Barbie as its newest face for Lady Foot Locker campaign

Reebok officially welcomes international supermodel, actress and fitness maven Jasmine Sanders as one of its newest faces for the Reebok brand, joining the likes of Gigi Hadid, Teyana Taylor and Future. Adored by her millions of social media followers, Sanders will serve as the face of Reebok’s Women’s Classic campaign and collection with Lady Foot Locker.

Known widely for her bold and effortless merger of fitness and fashion, Sanders quickly gained international notoriety as a style icon – having walked countless catwalks around the world for top designers and striking poses for the most legendary fashion photographers. A self-proclaimed fitness maven, Sanders credits her success to hard work, both in her career and the in the gym. Sanders discovered early in her career that fitness was the key to balance and tranquility in an industry where the pressures of beauty could be overwhelming.

In the new Reebok Classic campaign, launching nationwide in key Lady Foot Locker stores, as well as on Reebok.com, Jasmine Sanders was photographed at the sun-dappled Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, which served as the perfect backdrop to this streetwear collection. Blending key performance and street sensibilities, the collection includes directional designs that cater to the modern fashionista. Standout styles include the coordinating red/white/blue Striped Crew and the long Striped Skirt, paired with the Aztec Garment and Gum sneaker in white with gumsole, as well as Iconic Crew Sweat and matching Fitness Leggings paired with the Classic Leather sneaker in white. The 26 piece collection is rounded out by additional key pieces including the cropped Rib Tank Top, various Tees, a Knit Track Short, and various styles of the Aztec sneaker in black, white, red and clue, along with Classic Leather sneakers in white, black and neutral colorways.

“I’ve always been a huge fan of Reebok and its unique take on street style and fitness, so when I was asked to become the latest member of the Reebok family, the answer was simple,” said Sanders. “I love how versatile this Reebok collection is and allows me to go from the street to the gym and back, which works so well for my busy schedule. Reebok to launch the Reebok Classic ZOKU RUNNER x Freebandz

Reebok Classic will launch the latest evolution of the ZOKU RUNNER through the launch of the Reebok Classic ZOKU RUNNER x Freebandz, representing the first collaboration for this new sneaker style.

Reebok Classic’s new contemporary silhouette, the ZOKU RUNNER first debuted on March 2 in London with a performance from Future at the famed Village Underground. The sneaker features the brand new ULTRAKNIT technology from Reebok, a method of knitting fused yarn to create a flexible and breathable sock-like upper that retains its shape while reducing material waste. The runner also features DMX Foam technology, a cushioning compound that dramatically reduces weight where it matters.

The Reebok Classic ZOKU RUNNER x Freebandz sneaker was designed with help from Future and the team on his Freebandz label. The sneaker features a two-tone black & white ULTRAKNIT upper with matching laces, reflective heel cage overlays embossed with ‘Reebok’ on the left shoe and ‘Freebandz’ on the right one, and a black & white marbled outsole with a glossy white midsole. Completing the design are Freebandz branding details on the sockliner, heel webbing, and collar.

Speaking to his natural synergies with Reebok Classic’s latest design, Future commented: “The ZOKU RUNNER is about evolution, moving forwards…that’s what I look to do creatively.”

#AllStarWeekend: Reebok Classic x Sneaker Politics Shaq Attaq Event

In addition to Classics in the Courtyard, Reebok finished up its three collaborations with Sneaker Politics in style, as Shaquille O’Neal came back to the state of his alma mater, stopping by Sneaker Politics to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the iconic Shaq Attaq with the launch of the Reebok Classic x Sneaker Politics Shaq Attaq.

In typical Shaq fashion, the living legend spent time with fans, taking photos and shaking hands, with some lucky guests receiving signed copies of his larger-than-life size 22 Reebok sneakers.

Celebrating the state of Louisiana and Shaq’s alma mater, the signature purple and yellow tones bring back memories of Shaq’s days as a dominant big man down south. Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, this new Shaq Attaq style has a clean white leather base with purple overlays that contrast with the yellow tongue and heel.

Basketball legend Dee Brown also stopped by the store, rocking the Reebok Men’s Pump Omni Lite Retro that he repped with Reebok.

Watch: Kendrick Lamar ‘Holds Court’ in New Reebok Classic Video

Paying homage to the upcoming global release of the Club C for SS17, Kendrick Lamar ‘Holds Court’ with Reebok Classic in a four-part video series shot by acclaimed director Nabil.

As an artist who takes inspiration from his childhood ‘court,’ and who is universally recognized for using his music to inspire and empower youths, Kendrick is the perfect validator for the Club C – a Reebok staple since 1985. Here, Nabil captures Kendrick in a series of short films, shot in front of a projection Compton High School’s tennis court, discussing the values intrinsic to both him and the sneaker; fearlessness, confidence, and expression.

Reebok Classic x Kendrick Lamar Release Club C Capsule

Today, Reebok Classic and music icon Kendrick Lamar continue to evolve their creative partnerships with the launch of the Reebok Classic x Kendrick Lamar Club C Capsule. For his first iteration of the historic Club C sneaker, Kendrick draws on his experiences from both past and present to add his unique style and message to the legacy of the classic tennis shoe.

Taking direct inspiration from his latest album, the sneaker’s aesthetic focuses on the themes of anonymity and abstraction while also calling for unity. Inspired by his ability to invoke conversation around race and social injustice, the Club C forces people to think deeper and celebrates Kendrick’s ability to create art with meaning in a stylish, provocative manner.

Commenting on the design, Kendrick said:

“Now more than ever it is important for individuals to come together as one. This sneaker represents that call for unity and equality, while also pushing people to look beneath the surface and uncover the hidden messages. This is something I try to do with my music, and now here with the Club C.”

The shoe will be available in adult unisex and children’s sizes at Footaction, Sneaker Villa, Shiekh Shoes, Jimmy Jazz, Shoe Palace and Reebok.com worldwide starting January 13th for $109.99 in adult sizing, $70 for kid’s styles, and $50 in toddler sizes.

Reebok Re-Releases Iconic Question Mid OG

The Year of the Question started with the Prototype, and as it nears the end, comes back with a classic.

For one of the final installments of the 20th anniversary of the Reebok Question Mid in 2017, Reebok is re-releasing the Question Mid OG Blue Toe, which Allen Iverson wore on the court regularly in his rookie year, and was the shoe he wore during his iconic “crossover” moment.

The style of the shoe is emblematic of his game; the Hexalite midsole construction, bold shades, and ice sole complemented his game and team’s classic colors. The crisp white leather upper is the perfect canvas for vibrant red hits of the classic Vector branding on the tongue and side panels.

The Reebok Classic Question Mid OG Blue Toe is now available and is selling for $140 at Reebok.com and select retailers including Finish Line, Footaction and Champs Sports.

Reebok Classic is proud to announce the latest iteration of the esteemed Fury franchise with the launch of the white and black InstaPump Fury Overbranded.

Including an abstracted, overblown black Reebok vector against a clean white upper, this unisex style has been a tour favorite of Future’s this summer and will be available to purchase for the first time at the new Reebok Fury Pop Up Shop in NYC on October 11 and 12.

The InstaPump Fury is one of the crown jewels of the Reebok Classic collection.  First launched in 1994, the futuristic silhouette was very advanced for its time with its inverted Pump air bladder, cutouts, and split midsole, and inspired many collaborations with artists, designers and retailers over the years. Ahead of its time since day one, the InstaPump Fury remains a cult favorite amongst collectors and consumers alike.

The Fury Adapt and Furylite round out Reebok Classic’s Fury collection this Fall with the same DNA and spirit that inspired the original. True to its name, the Fury Adapt is a modern take on a global icon. Geometric and bold like its predecessor, but with a slimmed, sportier silhouette, the Fury Adapt is a look that stands alone. FLY-CAP: Reebok and Future VIP Gifting Lounge in ATL

On Thursday, August 25th, Reebok Classic took over the legendary Means Street Studios in NW Atlanta for a Reebok VIP Gifting Lounge in advance of Future’s summer tour appearance last night.

Reebok Classic’s exclusive seeding lounge was a celebration of Future’s homecoming and the first event after the announcement in July when both parties announced their long-term, creative partnership.  Atlanta’s storied roots in culture, music and style provided the perfect backdrop for the tastemaker event.

Some of Atlanta’s most trend-setting VIPs like Big Boi, NFL player Deon Grant, MTV star DJ Young Fly, Offset from Migos, TI’s kids Messiah and Domani Harris, and more were laced up in key Reebok product in advance of Future’s concert that night, as they enjoyed cocktails and mingled with their fellow Atlantans to the tunes of DJ Don Cannon.

Guests had a unique opportunity to preview unreleased Reebok x Freebandz apparel that Future is sporting on tourand footwear including the Instapump Fury OverbrandedFurylite JF and the Furyadapt OG.  The product curation reflected both Future’s pioneering and elevated style mixed with Reebok’s design prowess, and served as a preview of what’s to come from the Reebok x Future relationship this Fall and into 2017.

Key products showcased at the lounge will be available for purchase beginning September 2016 at Reebok.com and retailers across the United States.

Following the launch of Reebok Classic’s Perfect Split photography campaign, in which globally acclaimed director Nabil captured Kendrick Lamar in a series of powerful and raw black-and-white as well as color images, Reebok and Kendrick Lamar return with a short film that explores Kendrick’s split personality and his interpretation of ‘classic.’

Shooting entirely on vintage video equipment to continue the theme of celebrating creative artforms in their most real, original and unique formats, director Nabil brought the story behind the new Classic Leather “Perfect Split” sneaker to life as the intimate film delves into the split of personalities that lie within each and everyone one of us.

A unique and candid view of Kendrick performing a freestyle verse captures the artist with an unfiltered, soulful rawness as he reflects on the different sides of his own personality. Looking back on his youth, Kendrick talks about his first introduction to a classic sneaker – the moment he stepped into the original and timeless Classic Leather during high school.
