GRAMMY Award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer, R.Kelly has officially joined the #WANGSQUAD. The global superstar is featured in renowned fashion designer, Alexander Wang’s SS17 digital campaign with fashion model Anna Ewers.
R.Kelly performed a couple of his hit singles at the exclusive Alexander Wang & Beats by Dr. Dre collaboration holiday party surrounding the campaign. Other notable celebrities in attendance were Rihanna, Zoe Kravitz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Teyana Taylor, and more.

This time around, the budding Brooklyn artist links up with one of NYC’s premier vinyl scratchers, DJ Firstchoice and unapologetically murder seven R&B songs from Musiq Soulchild, Jay Z & Beyonce, Aaliyah, Carl Thomas, R. Kelly, Mario and more.
R. Kelly always finds a new way to gives us a musical life experiences with different molds of storytelling. This time, the veteran R&B/Soul singer connects with GQ Magazine, sits in front of a camera with a plain white background, cigar in hand, and sings his whole life story all in 45 minutes.
In midst of song, he admits dealing with different life adversities, being shot, singing in front of McDonald’s, buying his first house, not being shamed about his past and much more.
After delivering the “Switch Up” & “Backyard Party”, R. Kelly comes back with a follow-up song entitled “Marching Band.” The featured track will be on his forthcoming album The Buffet, set to drop on Dec. 18th.
R. Kelly makes us miss the summer days as we roll right into fall with his new visual jawn entitled “Backyard Party.” In the video, Kellz is accompanied by Chance The Rapper and Snoop Dogg, a plethora of women, games, golf carts and of course, barbecue — as they all enjoy the sun and fun, surrounded by their close friends and family.
Kelly has always been the lifeline for most Family Bar-B-Que’s as his music is the primary request during the festivities, putting smiles on loved ones faces as they dance the evening/night away. This video shows just that.

Kalenna Harper dropped by the studios of SFPL TV to talk her recent and past music endeavors, writing for artists like Tinashe and Monica, her upcoming EP Rose Water and album Black Orchid, plus much more.
The established music vet also speaks on the state of R&B, which she feels like is no dead:
R&B never left. I think that what happened was the R&B singers got caught up in wanting to do what Hip Hop artists do, beacause Hip Hop is “f**kin cool,” it’s a lifestyle.
Kalenna went on to say, that most R&B artists need to just go back to the drawing board, dig through the archives of; Jodeci, R. Kelly, and more. Praises: Tinashe, Sevyn Streeter, Ne-Yo, The-Dream and Rico Love for sticking to real R&B music, and writing great songs.
In Part 2 of the interview, She also reveals a new collaboration with her past Dirty Money cohort, Diddy on her new album project ‘Black Orchid.’
Wanting to be apart of the recent BET Awards 2015 “Bad Boy Reunion” performance, Kalenna also talked about the good ole’ DDM days and killed rumors about Diddy leaving her and Dawn Richard broke with no money, after the group split.
