[Throwback Of The Day] Case “Not Your Friend” …

I don’t have to say much …

Just hit play and let your mind take you back and out your shoulders in control … lol.

Case definitely gave us some good music during his short reign in these R&B Streets ….

[New Music] LaJon – “Definition of Lovers Lost” (EP)

BMI and have collaborated to present soul singer LaJon’s debut EP release “Definition of Lovers Lost”.

As BMI’s first “Know Them Now” video songwriting contest winner and’s emerging artist, LaJon, 22, has garnered a huge following of supporters who have patiently awaited the release of this EP, well, the wait is over!

“This EP is extremely conceptual,” said LaJon. “It’s a journey. A travel through a young man’s mind as he finds and loses love all while remaining optimistic that he will find love again. This body of work is very real to me because these songs come from real places and experiences and I think that’s what makes for the best music – an emotional attachment.”

[The Word] “There’s nobody really in my league,” -Rihanna

Seems like Pop Superstar, Rihanna is feeling pretty good about her accomplishments as of lately. There’s nothing wrong with that at all, The Bajan princess recently told Look Magazine just how confident she was feeling;

There’s nobody really in my league But there’s competition everywhere. The whole music industry is competition. There are people who like other artists, those who like me and others who like both. Beyonce is a great artist and I feel honoured to be mentioned in the same sentence…

Wait … Say That Again?

Beyonce is a great artist and I feel honoured to be mentioned in the same sentence…

Carry On…

but we’re different performers with different styles.

Now, I won’t be a Bey Stan and jump all over Rihanna for this comment. She’s right, she has in fact carved a lane of her own. This is true. She makes hits. Great ones. And her charisma, fashion and music have catapulted her to the star status she currently receives. If that’s her league, (air quotation marks) she’s definitely right. And if that league includes her vocals and performances, she’s DEFINITELY right, that league is all her own.

Beyonce (as she mentioned, not us)…

Is in a league of her own as well…
