New York City Comic Con invaded the city like it does every year making it one of the city’s biggest and most fun events.

There is just sense of fun in the year as straphangers and New Yorkers, see their favorite comic book characters, television show personalities and cartoon characters come to life.

Once you step in the vicinity of the Jacob K. Javits Center you are immersed in a world of wonder and fantasy. Team SFPL was on hand to soak it all in and of course capture all of the amazing cosplay on hand.

New York Comic Con came and conquered New York City once again this year this past weekend. Not sure if it was in record numbers like last year but as you can see from the photo above there was A LOT people there! Comic book enthusiast flock to the Jacob K Javits center to catch a glimpse of their favorite artist, actors, play new video games but most importantly costumes.

There was definitely some black star power in the building this year at New York Comic Con. Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson, For Better or Worse star Michael Jai White and singer Estelle were in the building to talk about their animated series at panels held by Cartoon Network.
