Tinashe releases her new collaborative track featuring rapper Juicy J entitled “Energy”. The official song was produced by Mike WiLL Made-It.
The “2 on” singer has a new album called Joyride on the way, which also features work from Chris Brown, Boi-1da, Metro Boomin and more.
Tinashe pings the term, “Motherfuckers, I can’t be ignored” — she spoke to Rolling Stone about what does that mean in terms of the album.
I feel like I’ve been working really hard this year at developing a fan base, a touring base. I’m continuing to grow, but you always feel like you’re a little bit underappreciated, undervalued. Especially for me, it’s exciting to have new music and to give people a chance to rediscover me again.
It’s clear that Tinashe is determined to make her mark.

This summer, Rémy Martin celebrated the relationship between Producers, music, culture and innovation by giving up-and-coming producers the ultimate access to the world’s top producers—and a chance at being “Next”—in the season’s premiere producer competition: Rémy Martin Presents “The Producers Series.”
The Rémy Martin Presents “The Producers Series” featured some of the hottest producers in the game. Legends and current trend setters—Mike Will Made-It, Pete Rock, Just Blaze, Salaam Remi, and AraabMuzik—were interviewed by Rémy Martin Brand Ambassador and Power 105.1 “The Breakfast Club” Charlamagne Tha God. In intimate conversations, all shared their stories, how they got into the game, what it takes to be hit makers, and critiqued the series’ competitor entries.
Over the nearly three month competition, thousands of up-and-coming producers battled their way to this past Saturday’s finale competition at New York City’s Stage 48, featuring a live performance by producer AraabMuzik. During the event’s battle-style finale, the Rémy Martin Presents “The Producers Series” winner was revealed.
Judged by AaraabMuzik, Charlamagne and industry vets Rap (Universal Republic), Jay Claxton (DTLR Radio/WERQ), Chris Green (Capitol Records), Theo Brown (Atlantic Records), Shadow Stokes (300 Ent.), and SteveRaze (AllHipHop.com), amateur producer Keith Edwards a.k.a SoulTronik (@IamSoulTronik) was named the winner of the first-ever Rémy Martin Presents “The Producers Series.”
SoulTronik, beating out 19 semi-finalists from the New York area, emerged from the four finalists, walking away with a prize package that included studio time at Converse Rubber Tracks Studio, and items from AKOO, Levi’s, Fanny Pack Me and Guitar Center. From Hempstead, N.Y., SoulTronik has been producing since 2003 and touts being influenced by the likes of Pete Rock, DJ Premier, Showbiz, !llmind, Statik Selektah and Boi-1da.
Runner up in Rémy Martin Presents “The Producers Series” competition was Swing America (@swingamerica); the other two finalists were Buda & Grandz (@BudaDaFuture) and Calvin Charles (@saintbeliev3).

The Rémy Martin Presents The Producers Series launched with its first semi-final event Saturday, July 11th at the Empire Hotel Rooftop in New York City headlining Mike Will Made-It and was hosted by Rémy Martin Brand Ambassador Charlamagne Tha God.
During the three hour event on the packed rooftop overlooking Lincoln Square, interviewed by Charlamagne Tha God, Mike Will Made-It dropped knowledge about his start and what it took to make it in the business; he also introduced two artists he’s producing:
Eearz and Yung Joey who performed for the event attendees.

SXSW went down this past week for its 28th year and it was indeed epic! South by Southwest Music and Media Conference 2015 (SXSW) is one of the world’s leading music industry events, offering informational panels, talks, the Trade Show, Music Gear Expo and other activities at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, TX.

Bud Light MIXXTAIL was a presenting sponsor of the IllMore, which in its fifth successful year has become the most talked about late night party during SXSW with exclusive performances each year.
This year, the IllMore featured sets by Chance the Rapper, Fetty Wap, ATrak, Future, Rae Sremmurd, J-Cole, Bun B, Big Sean, Mike Will Made IT and many more.
The IllMore created the ultimate hangout at the Saint Elmo Soundstage with an indoor/outdoor set up, local food trucks, games, hookah lounge, pop-up barbershop and intimate performance area. The after party was the perfect fit for Bud Light MIXXTAIL – a new cocktail-inspired product under the Bud Light portfolio – which is all about the house party.
Bud Light MIXXTAIL worked with local graffiti artists Kristin Freeman and Bradford Maxfield to create original MIXXTAIL signage, as well as a live mural of Biggie that they worked on throughout the three nights – check out the final product below!
On Saturday during the day, Bud Light MIXXTAIL also hosted a pre-party backyard BBQ at the original IllMore house. Guests hung out on the lawn, drank a few MIXXTAILs, played games and ate some BBQ.A few up & coming artists such as Uzi and Good Joon stopped by as well as rapper YG.
