Stream NAV’s Self-Titled Debut Mixtape Featuring The Weeknd, Co-Production from Metro Boomin

Today, rapper and producer NAV releases his highly anticipated debut mixtape, NAV. The self-titled effort includes 11 tracks, all written, produced and mixed by NAV.  Metro Boomin, DannyBoy Styles and Rex Kudo contribute co-production on a handful of tracks. The mixtape is NAV’S first release under XO/Republic Records and includes previously released songs “Some Way” featuring The Weeknd, as well as viral hits “Up” and “Myself.”

After bursting onto the scene in 2015, NAV has made a colossal amount of noise. Preferring to let his music do the talking, NAV has ranked in over 100 million plays on his SoundCloud page, all while releasing self-produced songs straight to his ever-growing fan base. Recently, NAV teased fans by announcing his upcoming collaborative music project with Metro Boomin, Perfect Timing, set for release at a TBD date this year. The two most recently collaborated on NAV’s own track, “Up,” which appears on his self-titled mixtape and has received well over 21 million streams as of the release of ‘NAV.’

Already having established himself as a go-to producer, NAV has become a disruptive voice in the industry, recently being featured on “Biebs in the Trap,” the fan-favorite single from Travis Scott’s 2016 album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight and “Re-Up” from Belly’s Inzombia project, both of which NAV produced. In 2015, NAV also co-produced Drake’s Grammy-nominated track “Back to Back.” NAV is set to make his live debut this spring, performing his first-ever shows at Coachella on Saturday, April 13 and 22.  With more soon to come, including a recently filmed music video for “Some Way,” NAV is already the quintessential artist to watch in 2017 and is poised for a massive breakthrough year.

Southside’s latest hits also include Future’s “Fuck Up Some Commas,” “Blow A Bag,” “Slave Master,” and “Rich $ex.” And, Metro Boomin’s most recent hits are courtesy of Kid Ink’s, “Like A Hot Boyy,” and Travis $cott’s “3500.”

Last week, Waka Flocka Flame previewed ‘Flockaveli 1.5’ with releasing “Blue or Red,” a booming street anthem.

As has been reported by several sources, Waka Flocka Flame has made multiple demands to be relieved of his contract with Atlantic Records. He has gone as far as releasing the label’s phone number over his social media channels and asking his fans to call the label and demand his release. Not one to sit idly by, Waka rewards fans that have been patiently waiting for a new album, after significant delays, with 12 brand new records. The artist is referring to this album as ‘Flockaveli 1.5’ hinting to his fans that ‘Flockaveli 2’ is indeed still forthcoming, pending resolution to his dispute with Atlantic Records.

Brick Bronson, President of 36BRICKHOUSE says:

“Waka Flocka Flame and 36BRICKHOUSE are constantly progressing forward. The fans have been waiting for new music from Waka Flocka Flame long enough and we’re going to give it to them.”

And the General, Waka Flocka Flame says to his fans:

“Flockaveli 2 is coming. At every show, my fans ask me for new music so I’m not going to have them wait any longer. Despite whatever issues I have with my label, you’re getting what is basically a whole album as a free download. Introducing Flockaveli 1.5. This is how I say thank you to my fans who’ve been patient and supportive all this time.”

Waka has been touring non-stop for the past few years, most recently with DJ Whoo Kid on the party tour of the year, the Turn Up Godz Tour.

Earlier this year, Waka Flocka Flame delivered “Game On,” featuring Good Charlotte; the theme song for the feature film, Pixels. The record was used by the ABC network during the 2015 NBA Finals.
