Last Night In NYC, DJ Khaled held an exclusive listening party in New York City at the elite restaurant/nightspot, LAVO. Sponsored by Ciroc, Belaire Rose and Dusse.

Celebs, Media and Influencers filled the room as they awaited the sounds of the most anticipated album of the entire year. Literally.

As Khaled eventually left his VIP section with the likes of L.A. Reid, Maino, Busta Rhymes, Yandy Smith, Uncle Murda, singer/songwriter Alus, producer Lee On The Beats and more, the “Snapchat King” spoke a few words before in the album playlist went in full motion. Major Key Alert! DJ Khaled is Back With “Do You Mind,” Taps All-Star Ensemble

DJ Khaled‘s star only continues to rise. For his latest musical offering “Do You Mind,” he links up with some major players: Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, August Alsina, Jeremih, Future, and Rick Ross. “Do You Mind” is off DJ Khaled’s upcoming album Major Key, which drops Friday. Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean, Jay Z, Jeezy, Nas, Jadakiss, Fabolous, and Wiz Khalifa are also among some of  the album’s many features.

Of course Nicki kicks things off spilling some tea on her much-discussed relationship with fellow emcee Meek Mill spitting,

“Eat the cake and he suck on my toes, yes / Hittin’ them home runs, I be like ‘Go Mets!’ / I want a dude that still kiss me when he mad / Type to cop me diamonds, he can miss me with them bags.”

Enter Chris who croons the melodic hook oozing with desire,

“Girl we’ve been right here thinkin’ about it all night / Baby you should be up in my bed. Ooooh do you mind? Do you mind? Do you mind?”

Alsina and Jeremih follow-up, offering a sensual verse with Future and Rick Ross rounding out the track after delivering a few rhymes. Finally, Nicki closes out the record belting the record’s finale.

The latest from the Miami DJ follows “Holy Key” (featuring Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean, and Betty Wright), “I Got the Keys” (featuring Jay Z and Future), and “For Free” (featuring Drake). Listen to it below and make sure you go cop Khaled’s Major Key out tomorrow.

Jonathan Mannion Talks Creating DJ Khaled’s “Major Key” Cover [Video]

Renowned photographer to the stars, Jonathan Mannion stopped by Music Choice to discuss his experience in shooting DJ Khaled‘s album cover Major Key.

He says that everyone thinks that Khaled’s famous lines/captions are very gimmicky, but Mannion advises that it’s all real; “he really believes it, like it’s really pure,” he says.

For the actual shoot, they spent $5,000 on flowers alone, due to Khaled’s request of everything being colorful. He also asked for a throne and not 1 but 2 lions. Unfortunately, the budget only allowed one lion. Lol! You gotta love him!

Check it out above.
