It was a day of beauty and fun Saturday, August 12th, at Russell Simmons‘ Tantris located in beautiful West Hollywood, Califronia. Stars, tastemakers and invited guest were on hand for  a ‘Sip & Style’ event hosted by NBC’s Marlon star, Bresha Webb.

Guests were treated to wellness and pampering services provided by Aveda cosmetics and Tantris hairstylist.

There was also a bevy of star power on hand as well, Russell Simmons (Owner of Tantris/Media Mogul), Laura Govan (formerly of VH1’s Basketball Wives), AJ Johnson (Actress/Celebrity Personal Trainer),Simone Shepherd (Social Media Influencer/Comedian), Dominique Perry (Insecure), Gabrielle Dennis (Insecure), Ashley North (W.A.G.S), Angela Christine (Tantris salon Senior Creative Consultant and Celebrity Hairstylist), Angell Conwell (Actress), Ashley Everett (Beyonce’s Dance Captain), Cece Price (Social Media Influencer ‘The CeCe Show’), Jasmine Brand (The Jasmine Brand), Kellee Stewart (NBC Midnight, Texas), Monique Coleman (Actress), Nina Parker (Access Hollywood Live), Russell Simmons (Owner of Tantris), Zulay Henao (OWN Love Thy Neighbor) and stars of the upcoming show Marlon, Notlim Taylor and Marlon Wayans.

It definitely looked like a day of nothing but pure fun, beauty,laughs with plenty of black girl magic in the air!

Last Night in LA: Laura Govan, Malaysia Pargo & More Attend Cars 3 Screening Hosted By Lance Gross [Photos]

Last Night in L.A.,at the IPic theaters – Westwood on Monday, June 12th, celebrities,influencers and their kids attended a special VIP screening of Disney/Pixar’s latest animated feature Cars 3.

The night of family fun was hosted by actor/photogrpaher Lance Gross who was accompanied by his wife Rebecca Jefferson-Gross and daughter Berkeley Brynn Gross.

There was plenty of star power in the building to join Gross in seeing the film. Notables in attendace were Angel Brinks (Designer & VH1’s Basketball Wives),Angela Manuel-Davis (Fitness Instructor),Apryl S. Jones (VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Los Angeles),Baby Kaely (Hip Hop Artist),Dom Kennedy (Hip Hop Artist),Felicia Latour (Celebrity Makeup Artist),Jaleel White (Actor), Kyla Pratt (Actress), Laura Govan (VH1’s Basketball Wives), Laya Hayes (Actress Voice of Doc McStuffins) & Malaysia Pargo (VH1’s Basketball Wives).

With the #NYFW frenzy in full throttle, VIP guests converged on Jay Z’s 40/40 Club in Manhattan for #OnTrendExperience.

The Showcase & Shopping event was hosted by Fashionista/TV Personality Laura Govan’s #InRealLife Clothing. The beauty ushered in some other sizzling hot #OnTrend designers to share the fashion week spotlight with her including Brazilian Swim Designer A.Z Araujo, Designer Bianca Stewart of Jesse Queen Collection, Shoe Designer Stella Hues, Platinum Image Boutique, KIEU CLERVOIX, Destination 1610 and YEROC eyewear.

The affair began with an intimate #InRealLife Style Experience tutorial facilitated by Laura Govan & Wardrobe-Style Expert Daniel Hawkins known for his impeccable work with clients including La La Anthony, Tamar Braxton, Fantasia and Nene Leakes to name a few.

NYC’s Primrose Couture Events, Event Engineers NYC & Gumball Necklace Divas transformed the entire venue into a beautiful showcase and shopping paradise with sounds by Brazilian powerhouse DJ Erick Faria.

Supermodel Tyson Beckford was the event’s “Guest of Honor” and made his rounds to each Designer’s suite for a private VIP showcase. Guests were treated with gift bags featuring Lancome perfumes and products, #InRealLife Clothing, The Happy Hour with Heather B. products, Vera Moore Cosmetics and Skincare products, Core Water, barkTHINS and Bitsy Bop.

#OnTrendExperience was produced and presented by The Julien Management Group, The 40/40 Club & Platinum Image Boutique.

Jamie Foxx and Laura Govan Help Kids Get In The Ninja Turtle Spirit By Hosting Karate Kickback

n Saturday, May 21st in sunny Thousand Oaks, California, FLY guy Jamie Foxx and FLY gal Laura Govan hosted a TMNT themed karate kickback for over 40 kids.

The kids and their celebrity parents were treated to a day of turtle petting, exercise, pizza, and on-site karate classes. The ultimate experience for young and old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans.

Notable guests in attendance were of course the hosts of the day Jamie Foxx, Laura Govan, Larenz Tate (Actor), DJ Kiss (Celebrity DJ), Mechelle Epps (Wife of Mike Epps), Miles Brown (ABC’s Black-ish), Zena Foster (Girlfriend of R&B Superstar Tank), Big Boy (Real 92.3) and Marsai Mountain (ABC’s Black-ish).

Everyone then gathered inside for a private screening of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of The Shadows. A perfect way to round out a totally awesome day.

New Reality Series ‘The Next 15’: Benzino, Claudia Jordan, Laura Govan, Tiffany “New York” Pollard, Jennifer Williams & Karamo Brown

TV One today announced production has begun on The Next 15, a docu-series following the lives of six reality stars whose infamous television debuts have come and gone.Currently filming in Los Angeles, the series documents the return of one of the original reality TV divas, Tiffany “New York” Pollard (Flavor Of Love, I Love New York) and Claudia Jordan, who is out for redemption since recently ousted from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The cast also consists of reality show veterans Jennifer Williams (Basketball Wives), Karamo Brown (The Real World: Philadelphia), Laura Govan (Basketball Wives: LA), Raymond “Benzino” Scott (Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta). All are attempting to generate their next 15 minutes of fame. More than a game changer in reality television, TV One’s The Next 15 is disrupting the genre as we know it. The series showcases the normally unseen “fourth wall” between the producers and the talent, revealing what happens not only on camera but behind it too as the action unfolds.

These stars gained infamy as a result of their tumultuous personal lives playing out over the airwaves but are now committed to changing their public persona and taking their careers to new heights. TV One’s The Next 15, the latest offering from Carlos King – creator and executive producer of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and  the network’s hit series Hollywood Divas – is set to premiere in Q1 2016.

WATCH: Gilbert Arenas Hits Ex Gloria Govan’s Car With A Cinder Block, Calls-Out Stripper For Buying Boyfriend Sneakers with His “Tip Money”

What in Cinder Hell is going on?! It looks as though, Shanghai Sharks Guard, Gilbert Arenas is quite fed up with his ex-wife Gloria Govan, yet again.

TMZ reported, that Arenas recently smashed Gloria’s car that she drives with a cinder block after she allegedly threw his computer in the pool and/or screwed up his Netflix account. Basically, Gilbert tossed a big ass rock at the car, therefore, adding quite the damage to a car that he allegedly paid for. Smart, I guess. *side-eye*

Gilbert and Gloria both have a total of 4 kids together, and as of recent, they have both been going back and forth over a number of issues, in and out of court. Remember, the engagement ring that he recently took back? Yeah, that’s just one example.

As of recent, Govan demanded an emergency restraining order against him this week, claiming he threatened her life saying: “I want you dead or in jail or broke.” But the judge completely shot her down.

This seems to be a repetitive action of Gloria’s. Gilbert recently took his feelings to social media about Gloria’s various attempts of trying to restrain him through court. He says: “Another victory in court. I’m not the one to keep score but ur 0-16.”

Also, just this past Thursday, Gilbert called out one of his favorite strippers on IG for buying her boyfriend some new sneakers with his “tip money”:

BRUH.

Let’s just all say a little prayer for Gilbert, Gloria and well, maybe the stripper too. They should just all stay clear away from each other. That’s all.

On a serious note, hopefully, Gloria and Gilbert can reconcile their differences and focus on the kids, which is more important at this point. Live your love lives separately, but as parents be there for your children.

Last night, T.I., Russell Simmons, Evan Ross, Adrienne Bailon, Edwina Findley, Stephen Hill, Affion Crockett, Kenny Burns, Yesi Ortiz, King Keraun, Teairra Mari, Laura Govan, Gloria Govan, Melanie Iglesias, Kyla Pratt, Hazel-E and Joe Torry enjoyed laughs at a private screening of GET HARD at All Def Comedy Live powered by The Brand Group in Hollywood.

Comedians James Davis and KDubb took the stage for an impromptu comedy show before T.I. took over to introduce the film, which he co-stars in alongside Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell.
