[FLY Events] Grey Goose Lifestyle Specialist Dinner Series IV…

There’s no better way to kick off a holiday weekend than honoring those who have social responsibility at the top of their list.

The Lifestyle Specialist, Kenny Burns and Grey Goose La Poire, “PEARed” up with Corporate Code, Incorporated for the most recent installment of the Lifestyle Specialist Dinner Series.

Philanthropy is the focus of this edition as Corporate Code is a nonprofit organization whose goal is to help displaced men in our community (the homeless, formerly incarcerated, and/or unemployed) gain economic independence by providing interview-appropriate clothing and career counseling by building self-confidence.

The Lifestyle Specialist Dinner Series IV kicked off the 2nd Annual Fashion & Philanthropy for Corporate Code which will take place June 15th through June 17th 2011.

With fashion being a major part of this organization’s DNA, select “Men of Style” were invited and honored in addition to Kenny Burns.

They were Chris Van Duyne (Publisher of Modern Luxury), Chauncey Davis (NFL), Michael Habachy, Caleb Spivak, Ovie Mughelli (NFL), Mark Gelinas, Justin Anthony (Owner of 10 Degrees South), Kwassi Eyll-Cataria (Celebrity Stylist & Boutique Owner), and Vincent Velazquez.

Every “Man of Style” along with their guests enjoyed a savory three course meal while sipping on Grey Goose La Poire signature cocktails at the French American Brasserie (FAB) located in downtown Atlanta. Both Kenny Burns and Grey Goose thank and honor Corporate Code for going above and beyond their social responsibility in the city of Atlanta.

Here’s to living in good company!

ATL Live!

Soul Train Awards week in Atlanta kicked off right last night at Shanti Das and Marlon Nichols’ ATL LIVE ON THE PARK showcase hosted by Kenny Burns. Surprise performances, sexy ambiance and a room of the music industry’s who’s who made the evening one of the best shows ever!

Attendees included Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, Soul Train Holdings CEO Kenard Gibbs, Doug E. Fresh, Frank Ski, Rodney Jerkins, Dallas Austin, Sister 2 Sister publisher Jamie Foster Brown, New Edition’s Ron Devoe, Chaka Zulu, Catherine Brewton, Kawan Prather and many more!

The show’s featured acts were R&B vet Donell Jones, newcomer Rhonda Nicole and Universal Motown/Darkchild Records girl group Purple Reign. However, guests were treated to impromptu performances by Brownstone’s Nicci Gilbert and Ron Devoe (who took everyone back to “Poison”). But the highlight of the night was Doug E. Fresh, who did his own fly version of Cali Swagg District’s “Teach Me How to Dougie” and sent the crowd into a frenzy. Classic!
