Pepsi and Kendall Jenner Dragged All Over The Internet For Tone Deaf AD!

Another day, another large corporation does something incredibly crazy and tone deaf. Tonight Kendall Jenner and Pepsi Co unveiled a new ad for Pepsi Max. In the commercial ,(posted above) Kendall is doing what she does best and that is taking photos. The photoshoot quickly comes to an end when a protest marches past her shoot and she decides to join in.

Now here is where the commercial goes absolutely wrong. Jenner makes her way to the front of the crowd and hands the a cop a Pepsi Max backed by Skip Marley’s track “Lions”. His mood quickly turns from serious, to completely happy and understanding.

The image of Jenner handing the officer a soda quickly drew comparisons to the iconic photo of Ieshia Evans confronting riot gear wearing Baton Rouge police officers.

Jenner’s mom Kris Jenner tweeted how proud she was of her daughter for being in what they thought was a brilliant ad.

Just thirteen years after it’s initial hit onto the music scene, the Black Eyed Peas relives their classic song “Where’s The Love?” in 2016 to spread unity, peace and love throughout the world due to recent tragic happenings.

Joining the chart-topping band are the likes of: Mary J. Blige, The Game, Diddy, Tori Kelly, Cassie, Nicole Scherzinger, Jessie J., Andra Day, Justin Timberlake, Usher, DJ Khaled, LL Cool J, Quincy Jones, Jaiden Smith, A$AP Rocky, Rosario Dawson, Kendall Jenner, Kris Jenner, Jhene Aiko (and her daughter) and many more.

DJ Khaled delivers the keys and he speaks on terrorism and gun violence, paired with a few bars of the same nature from Diddy and The Game. Jaiden and Rocky also pair-up to get a few things off their chest about society, voting, drug dealers and more.

All proceeds from the actual sale of the song will be donated to will.i.am’s non-profit foundation, i.am.angel.

The Word: Blac Chyna, Rob Kardashian and Kim Kardashian Spotted Making A Visit To The OBGYN

im Kardashian is definitely on her Switzerland ish! Kim has definitely squashed whatever remaining beef she may have had with her former BFF Blac Chyna and put whatever differences with her brother Rob aside for now. Kim, Rob and his fiancée Blac Chyna were spotted out looking like one big happy trio. That’s good news for Rob being that he is set to make Chyna an honorary Kardashian very soon when the two tie the knot. There was also another very interesting tidbit dropped by gossip site X17online, Chyna may have a bun in the oven. They also report that trio paid a visit to Kim’s OB-GYN.

A very silent Chyna was all smiles and even shared a laugh with Kim as they walked together heading to the doctor. Peep the video:

All of this follows after Kylie and Chyna also put their differences aside thanks to Kim Kardashian brokering peace between the two.

Well whatever is going on, this is still just a weird situation but it most certainly will make for interesting television. Speaking of television a clip dropped today for the new season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians premiering May 1st, and it shows Kendall Jenner not too happy with her brother Rob re-gifting an IPAD and giving it to his boo Chyna.

Well we are looking forward to how this all unfolds and we are sure the cameras will be rolling to capture every single moment.

Calvin Klein unveiled their latest Spring 2016 #mycalvins campaign on Instagram a few days ago. The brand has recruited an eclectic mix of actors, artists, musicians, models, and dancers for their Spring 2016 campaign. Calvin Klein tapped Justin Bieber, Fetty Wap, Joey Bada$$, FKA Twigs, Kendall Jenner, and Kendrick Lamar, just to name a few.

These celebrities model more than just CK’s signature skivvies donning a variety of pieces from the brand’s Spring 2016 collection. The campaign was shot by photographer Tyrone Lebon and finds those featured embracing their individuality and acknowledging said characteristics by completing the phrase “I …. in #mycalvins.” You can watch the official campaign video and check out the images below.

Fly Interview: Justine Skye, Gabi Wilson & Elle Varner Talks ‘A Classic Holiday’ with Brandy, Alicia Keys, Tyrese & more on SFPL TV

The beautiful Queens of the SFPL Fly Family, hailing from the throne of MBK Entertainment comes Justine Skye, Gabi Wilson and Elle Varner as they talk about their label’s newest Christmas album, A Classic Holiday and more.

Justine Skye aka The Purple Unicorn spoke on her creative remake of the classic 1985 holiday cut “Last Christmas”, originally performed by British Pop Duo, Wham!. The young star also talked about the recent Times Square takeover for the lyric video premiere of “I’m Yours” featuring Vic Mensa — starring a few of her closest friends like: Kylie & Kendall Jenner, Travis Scott, Hit-Boy and more.

Musician Gabi Wilson told us how she felt about covering her favorite holiday song, “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”. Gabi also recently performed on the 2015 AMA’s Red Carpet Pre-Show and shared her experience of when she first heard about the news, as she was elated to be apart of music history. The singer-songwriter also mentioned an upcoming EP titled HER was in the works.

Elle Varner takes us down memory lane as she revisits the oh-so-adorned soulful tune, “This Christmas”. Only this time, the talented singer added her own twist of what she calls, “Trap Jazz”, which mixes up a special recipe bringing the classic song into the realm of music that’s trending today. Elle also gave more insight into her pursuing the acting side of things, working on films, shows, all while working on her forthcoming album.

Collectively, the ladies talked about what it felt like to be on a Christmas album with artists that they’ve looked up to growing up: Brandy Norwood, Tyrese, Alicia Keys and Coko (of SWV).

Lastly, the gang went back in time and discussed their favorite gifts that they received as a kid and so much more.

MBK is a multi-media firm helmed by esteemed producer and artist manager Jeff Robinson. When asked about his inspiration for putting the compilation together, he says:

“Holidays are about family, love and of course sharing. So it’s with great joy that I had the pleasure of pulling together my MBK Family to create this fantastic holiday album with love.”

A visionary who formerly managed Alicia Keys through her breakthrough success and beyond as well as Tyrese, Robinson and his team has worked and continues to work in various capacities with each artist on A Classic Holiday.

Tyga aka King Gold Chains has been recently known for debuting his collaboration with L.A. Gear. Now, he’s been offered the cover spot of Footwear News‘ November issue, being stamp for his fashion sense, and his love for sneakers.

In the issue, Tyga talks about his favorite kicks and mass collection, opens up about Kylie Jenner, talks about Yeezy Boosts and more.

How many pairs of sneakers do you have?

“I’ve got a lot of shoes, but I don’t like to wear a lot. I tend to wear my top three or four. I have over a hundred for sure, but I’m always giving pairs away to my friends or loosing them.”

All sneaker heads have a certain shoe they buy in bulk. What’s yours? 

“I’m such a fan of all white Vans. It’s the Cali boy in me again. I just love all white shoes. You can only get like two wears out of them, it just kills me. I buy like five at a time. They just get dirty so fast. You want something to always fit like when you first buy it. That feeling when you first it on.”

You arrived today wearing the new Yeezy 350 boots with a head-to-toe Yeezy look. What do you think it is about what Kanye West has done that has resonated so successfully?

“When he believes in something, he believes in it whether people don’t like it or like it. He’s going to do it anyway. Once people realize that, they take their barrier down. A lot of people judge things based on perception and don’t actually give it a try. Once they do, they like it and realize what he’s trying to do, on all levels. I get what he’s doing musically and am a fan of his as an artist and his drive. Everyone has different tastes, but right now, this is how I’m feeling like dressing.”

About the Yeezy Boost 950 Boots and his special Jenner connect, which he is included in the family special order: 

“It’s winter and these just feel right. I’m lucky I don’t have to try and hunt them down online anymore. I like getting things first.”
