Singer, and now cookbook author Kelis gave birth to a healthy baby boy back in November. An insider told E! News, Kelis is “thrilled”. We first learned the “Milkshake” singer was expecting during her appearance at this past summer’s Afro Punk Festival.
The name of the baby and the father are still unknown. Kelis kept her pregnancy relatively private.
During an appearance at The Los Angeles Women’s Expo she did have this to share about motherhood:
“It enhances you. I don’t know if it really changes you,” she explained. “I think it just enhances who you already are. It makes the things that you do make sense. You’re more poignant and more focused.”
Congratulations, Kelis! Motherhood definitely suits you.
