K. Michelle is clearly not with the sh*ts, especially when fake jewelry from her ex-boo touched the palms of her hand during an episode of her VH1 reality show, K. Michelle: My Life. Now, the singer releases a ballad entitled “Time” from her third album More Issues Than Vogue.
In the song, the Memphis singer advises the one that she once knew, that it’s “too late for you and I, thank God I left you right on time.”
More Issues Than Vogue is on the way but first, K. Michelle has some feelings to get off her chest with a few rap bars in tow, and she’s loaded and ready to rumble.
With some assistance from Tallahassee’s own, T-Pain, the songstress stands firm with a strong 16 or more infused with an “uptown funk” clap, as she gets a few point across.
Who the f**k
Told y’all hoes to open up?
Cut-that’s enough!
I’m comin’ straight from the gut
I ain’t playin, who dat?
Hold up
Tell that bitch to move back!
Slow up!
It’s clear that she’s not playing around this time.
Tagging onto her Memphis cohort, Yo Gotti‘s explosive track “Down In The DM”, K. Michelle delivers a reversal role of the song expressing the activity in her private social inbox, along with stating her claim as the “R&B Gerald Green.”
K. Michelle will appear on Gotti’s upcoming album The Art of Hustle on a song entitled “My City.” The project also features the likes of: 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, Timbaland, E-40, Pusha T, Nicki Minaj and Future.
After releasing the freestyle, the VH1My Life reality star received a little heat from her Ex and Former Indiana Pacers star Lance Stephenson where he calls the singer a “Nicki Minaj Wannabe”, insinuating that she wants a collab with Beyonce, and that Safaree Samuels will be taking an “L” for allegedly writing her lyrics to the rap cover.
K. Michelle then responded with an IG post claiming that she, Lance and his Mom are cool and she just got off the phone with the both of them. She then states that someone hacked his account and left the aggressive message.
Drama seems to follow K but we all know that it comes with the business.
With much success so far with her new single “Not A Little Bit”, K. Michelle has been consistently in the studio working on her next album More Issues Than Vogue, which will be available for pre-order this Friday.
K. Michelle never disappoints when it comes to a good, fresh ballad coming straight from the soul. Delivering her new jawn “Not A Little Bit” the singer teams up with R&B/Gospel vet Kelly Price to churn out one of the most precious tracks.
In the song, K. Michelle confesses that she is totally over a recent relationship, as the end has drawn near. Does she wanna revisit what once was? Not A Little Bit.
If you think I want you, not a little bit
If you think I need you, not a little bit
I finally moved on I’m over it
