Renowned photographer to the stars, Jonathan Mannion stopped by Music Choice to discuss his experience in shooting DJ Khaled‘s album cover Major Key.
He says that everyone thinks that Khaled’s famous lines/captions are very gimmicky, but Mannion advises that it’s all real; “he really believes it, like it’s really pure,” he says.
For the actual shoot, they spent $5,000 on flowers alone, due to Khaled’s request of everything being colorful. He also asked for a throne and not 1 but 2 lions. Unfortunately, the budget only allowed one lion. Lol! You gotta love him!
