Fly Music: JOHNNY – “Solo”

Brooklyn (by way of Boston) Future R&B/Pop Artist and Producer Johnny (John Whoriskey Jr) releases his latest self-produced single “Solo.” Sections of layered vocals sprinkled throughout the song give us almost a James Blake/Francis and the Lights meets pop style sing-rap vibe with the 3rd Verse switch up. “Solo” is a self-reflection of the anxiety-ridden roller coaster mixed with self-doubt meets self-reassurance in sort of a “what it feels like to try to ‘make it’ in life.” Relatable to any dreamer in this world. Closing out with the refraining outro with “it ain’t too late,” this is our sigh of relief; our happy ending.
