Funny Or Die Drops Donald Trump Biopic ‘The Art Of The Deal: The Movie’

Johnny Depp as Donald Trump

The folks over at Funny Or Die have taken on Republican presidential candidate [can you believe that title precedes his name] Donald Trump for their latest parody.

This morning the comedic website released The Art of the Deal: The Movie starring Johnny Depp as Trump. The parody biopic bears the same name as Trump’s best-selling autobiography The Art of the Deal.

The film is narrated by Ron Howard and as he describes was “thought to be lost in the Cybill Shepherd blouse fire of ’89.” Howard goes on to explain that the biopic follows Trump as he plans to buy the Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City.

The film parody was shot over four days back in December and features Alfred Molina, Henry Winkler, and Patton Oswalt. Funny Or Die’s editor-in-chief Owen Burke originally pitched the idea to Adam McKay, who reached out to Depp and from there things moved quickly according to Burke.

“The plan was to move really fast because we thought Trump would go away, at least as a presidential candidate. When he bizarrely didn’t go away, we had a little more time. But that meant keeping the secret for longer.”

Well the secret’s finally out, which means you can feast on your eyes on this hilarious undertaking. Check out the trailer below and you can watch the full movie over at Funny Or Die here.
