It seems as the adored couple had a few issues that needed to be worked out and have decided to take a break. Is it for good? We don’t think so. To be quite honest, they were the definition of an ideal match in our eyes.

“Through the summer, I went on my little Eat Pray Love journey and it was a time for me to come to terms with my own truth and my honesty and I am not engaged anymore, and we’re in a good place.”

FLY-LIGHTS: Bevy Smith x McDonald’s…

On Thursday, December 2, Lifestyle maven Bevy Smith joined forces with host of Style Network’s “How Do I Look,” Jeannie Mai, and Author of “Fit Home Team and The Beauty of Love,” Laura Posada, to host the “First Taste: Simple Joy of Mornings” event at an Upper East Side McDonald’s. Bevy extended a personal invitation to Stuff Fly People Like, requesting our presence to cover the Event, and of course, we honored her request and made that trek uptown.

We were among the first Tastemakers to experience McDonald’s newest taste with samples of the new Fruit & Maple Oatmeal and the McCafé CaramelMocha in a renovated and stylized restaurant. Take it from Fly Society, this new Fruit & Maple Oatmeal is Amazing!

In addition to fashion presentations (presented by Bevy), and beauty how-to’s and fitness/wellness tips, the newly renovated Space was pretty Fly.

Other Notables included; Actress Sidra Smith, BET personality Alesha Renee, BBC correspondent Sharon Carpenter and TV personality/recording artist Amanda Diva. More pics of this FLY event after the jump…
