Riding high off of his single-cut “What Do You Mean?” comes yet another new jawn from Justin Bieber entitled “Sorry.” The dancehall-inspired track was produced by Skrillex, which finds the Biebs apologizing for a relationship that went sour. It’s even been mentioned/rumored that it could possibly be dedicated to Justin’s ex, singer-songwriter-actress, Selena Gomez.
The video, however, delivers a dance interpretation by a collective of extremely talented female dancers, and carries an abundance of dancehall movements — but doesn’t reflect the culture (Jamaica, Virgin Islands, etc.) at all in color…besides the style of clothing and bright colors. Could Bieber received flack behind the visual? There’s a strong possibility. Overall, the video and choreography is very on-point.
