What else can happen behind the Rikers Island walls and bars? Well, sneaking in a shank might be one prime example.
NY Daily News reports, “Hot Boy” and Brooklyn native rapper Bobby Shmurda [20],whose already in jail facing massive gun and drug trafficking charges has been arrested on-site after his girlfriend, Kimberly Rousseau [18] was seen slipping him a shank during a visit, officials said Saturday.
Kimberly [such a smart cookie], pull out a black latex glove balloon wrapped in black electrical tape out of her bra and handed it to Bobby. The guard opened the balloon and found a “sharpened metal object” according to a criminal complaint. Both were charged with “promoting prison contraband.”
Sigh. Obviously, Bobby’s “ride-or-die” got a glimpse of an old western film, and came up with this bright idea.
Of course, Kimberly plead guilty to promoting prison contraband and criminal possession of a weapon. She is due back in court next month.
Bobby is currently still sitting on a $2 million bail, and has yet to come up with the money.

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse. The full video of Suge Knight‘s hit and run alleged fatal accident, the outcome is quite appalling, and very graphic. TMZ has obtained the video of Suge Knight running over 2 men, killing one. But according to Suge, he believes the video exonerates him but prosecutors feel the opposite.
Speaking of the actual video footage, Terry Carter‘s family actually asked that TMZ post the video to show what happened. The family’s lawyer, Gary Dordick, tells TMZ:
“The Carter family is pleased you are releasing the video so the public can see what actually occurred and not be forced to speculate based on third party descriptions of the video.”
TMZ blurred the portion where Terry is run over because it was just too gruesome.
Suge drove to a Tam’s Burgers in Compton where Dr. Dre was filming footage connected with the NWA biopic, Straight Outta Compton. Suge had been kicked out of another location shoot 20 minutes earlier, and he claims he went to the burger joint to make peace with Dre.
Watch the video carefully. You see Suge pull up and he is almost instantly confronted by Cle “Bone”Sloan, who did security for the film. You clearly see Bone attacking Suge through the driver’s window, when Suge suddenly throws the truck in reverse, clipping Bone with the side view mirror and knocking him down.
You also see Terry Carter — the man who ended up run over and dead — standing near Bone. Terry moves into the parking lot when Suge guns it again, hitting Bone a second time and mowing Terry down, mortally wounding him.
Suge claims he was not trying to run either man over but instead was trying to escape out of fear he would be killed. Suge’s lawyer claims Bone and Terry both had guns. Check out the video. As Bone lays on the ground you clearly see another man walk up, remove something from Bone and put it in his waistband.
Law enforcement tells TMZ … they believe the video shows that Suge could have escaped after hitting Bone the first time by simply driving down the road. But Suge’s people say the group assembled near the truck was ominous and he feared if he drove past them he’d be shot.
We know Suge claims that multiple people in the crowd — including Terry Carter — were threatening to shoot him.

Seem’s like Hip Hop Mogul, Suge Knight just can’t stay out of trouble. But this time things are looking a bit more serious. TMZ reported recently, that after turning himself in for questioning, Suge Knight was arrested for MURDER in a Hit and Run incident that happened Thursday evening. Bail is set at 2 million dollars and according to NBC News, Knight maybe facing up to 30 years in Prison.
Witnesses say in the midst of shooting a commercial for an Ice Cube and Dr. Dre movie, Suge Knight drove up to the scene. In the process, Suge ended up getting into a physical push and shove with Dr. Dre’s security. Off-duty officers got wind of the altercation and ordered Suge to leave.
Soon after the first incident, Terry Carter called Suge and said he had contacted Dre and was told to bring Suge by the next location where they could work out their problems. Suge says, he took Carter up on the offer, believing that things would work out peacefully. Suge arrived at the next location and he got jumped before he even got out of his truck.
A brawl between Knight and two men sprung out and afterwards, Suge got back in his car, and drove backwards over his friend, Terry’s head; which killed him.
TMZ also reported that Knight was in fear of his own life due to complications from his own previous injuries. A couple months back, Suge Knight was shot 6 times at Chris Brown‘s Pre VMA’s party and most recently almost lost his life to a blood clot.
Dr. Dre is calling BS on Suge Knight for suggesting the good Doc asked Suge to come to the set to make peace with him.
Sources connected with Dre tell us … he scoffed when he was told Suge is claiming Terry Carter — the man he struck and killed — was bringing Suge to the set because Dre wanted to end their beef.
TMZ broke the story … less than an hour before the hit and run, Suge went to another set location but was thrown out by Dre’s security. Sources connected with Suge say he got a call from Carter who said he had just spoken with Dre and the Beats mogul said he wanted Suge to return so he could make peace.
Our Dre sources say it never happened, and note it’s pretty convenient the only other person who has first-hand knowledge is dead because Suge killed him.
As for why Dre and his people didn’t want Suge around … we’re told it’s because they view Suge as having a big fat target on his back. They say the shooting last Summer where Suge was hit 6 times is proof enough … he has enemies, and Dre didn’t want him and his people in the line of fire.
It looks like Suge may be put away for good this time around. He just can’t seem to shake trouble.
Looks like Jagged Edge member, singer Kyle Norman let his anger get the best of him, attacking the one he loves the most.
Unfortunately, Kyle been accused of beating his current fiancée and attempted to make her swallow her own engagement ring, as he allegedly tried to shove it down her throat.
Norman was arrested just early Thursday morning in the ATL. Officers responded to a fight call between the couple, and once they arrived on the scene…well, let’s just say they found her with a golf ball-sized welt on her head.
Cops expressed, that the woman claims Norman threatened to kill her. She also said he began punching and choking her with a scarf, and as stated; tried to force the ring down her throat.
We’re told Norman went peacefully when cops arrived, not giving the authorities any problems. He claimed the whole fight started because he was upset about his dad having cancer. She says they were arguing about drinking.
Kyle was charged with aggravated assault, and is still behind bars.
Seems like Khia‘s Neck and Back were hauled to jail over the weekend. It appears as if he Philly native was arrested for “concealing/endangering property-secured interest” (aka evading repossession of a good).
Mind you she’s been arrested 19 times in her lifetime. smh.

The former Rapper (known for starting beef with her more successful peers) had recently taken a stab at video blogging, I don’t know how good she was at it as I’ve never watched one.
And don’t plan on. But f it’s anything like her rap career, I’m sure it’s not really worth it.

Actress/Singer/Part-Time Jailbird Lindsay Lohan was escorted by Los Angeles County Sherriff deputies to her preliminary hearing at Airport Courthouse on Wednesday in Los Angeles. Waka Flocka Flame is the latest Rapper to Not Pass Go and Go Straight to Jail. Waka turned himself over to authorities today on a slew of drug, gun, and gang-related charges stemming from a police raid of his home in December.
The Rapper’s Atlanta residence was raided on December 16 (in his absence), and he was booked on charges including possession of marijuana, a firearm by a convicted felon, hydrocodone, and a firearm during the commission of a felony; violation of probation for driving on a suspended license; and violating Georgia’s “Criminal Street Gang and Terror Prevention Act.” Ironically Waka’s Mentor Gucci Mane was actually in the residence when all of this went down. He was arrested and now faces the possibility of serving 17 Months for vilolating his fairly new probation. Smh.
I’m so confused by the nature of all of this. You would think that the mere fact that both Waka and Gucci, (as is also the case with Part-Time incarceratee T.I.) have experience in the penal system, that they would take all measures to avoid a return to the Big House. Is it just me? Also acknowledging the ongoing police presence in Hip Hop as is, does it at all make sense to have a home full of firearms? Rappers get pulled over everyday B. When do the lights go on upstairs?
And didn’t Gucci just get released from Jail? Why would you sit in a house full of incriminating material?
