SFPL Music: Jacob Latimore – “Remember Me”

jacob-remember-me

On the independent flow of things since his departure from RCA Records, singer/songwriter Jacob Latimore gears up for his upcoming EP and releases a new mid-tempo tune entitled “Remember Me,” the follow-up to his current track “Climb“.

The official song premiered on Ebro Darden‘s Beats 1 radio show and quickly climbed to #35 on the iTunes R&B/Soul charts, which marks Jacob’s highest chart peak in his career.

Giving off the timeless vibes of the late Michael Jackson in song, Jacob confronts that fact the feelings are still very strong between he and a past love interest.

I know when we touch

You’ll fall back in love girl

We know what it was

Remember lovin’ me[?]

Jacob says:

“I feel like a new artist, I am 19 years old, I found my pocket, I’m recording some great records! I fell in love with “Remember Me” because it felt timeless, from the melodies to the lyrics, if MJ was alive I believe he would love it. When Beyonce hears it she’s going to love it too, lol! Anybody that loves “good” music will understand what I’m saying when they hear this.”

Pairing up with his new single, Jacob is launching the #RememberMeChallenge on the popular app Triller. By downloading the Triller app, fans will have the opportunity to make their very own music video for “Remember Me” and the winner gets a special Skype session with Jacob himself.
