Audio Push has come a long way since their hit “Teach Me How To Jerk” blew up on MySpace, releasing their first commercial project The Stone Junction EP a little over a month ago.

Comprised of duo Oktane and Prince, they recently linked up with HotNewHipHop stopping by their studio to lay down new track “Inland City Blues.” Produced by Brandun Deshay, the record is a spin of the Marvin Gaye classic “Inner City Blues.”

“Inland City Blues” perfectly embodies a laid back vibe thanks to the flute samples; which you don’t hear used much in hip hop. The lyrics complement the production well as Push spit about keeping things in perspective when experiencing the downs of life. Especially when the commas in your bank account keep growing, you can have your pick of the ladies, and you’ve got a steady supply of herbal of course.

After laying down “Inland City Blues” Audio Push took the time out to film a chill in-studio performance of the track as well. Watch it below.  You can purchase Audio Push’s The Stone Junction EP on iTunes.
