WATCH: Jim Jones Gets Emotional When Breaking Down The Rise and Fall of Dipset

Jim Jones has been the talk of the hip-hop world as of late. He recently ended his 13-year-old beef with Jay Z when he signed with Roc Nation. Last night Jimmy stopped by Funk Flex’s show to talk about his recent moves but in the process we got a very in-depth interview from Dipset’s capo.

We all know Jim Jones to be one of the toughest individuals in the hip-hop world, but during the interview we got a chance to see a side of Jim Jones we have never seen before. During the interview we learned that the current state of Dipset and his damaged relationship with Cam’Ron really hurt him. Jim Jones breaks down the details of how the iconic rap stable came to be, his role in forming the group and the blood, sweat and tears he put into Dipset.

Jim also spoke about Max B, French Montana and of course Jay Z in the very interesting interview. Do yourself a favor and watch it in its entirety. We just hope that one day Jim and Cam’Ron can work things out bring Dipset back cause hip-hop truly needs it.

Dyme-A-Duzin Freestyles On DJ Enuff’s ‘The Hot Box’

Brooklyn native, Dyme-A-Duzin, is proving himself to be a force on the microphone. The twenty four year old is slated to release his highly anticipated project, Crown Fried, at the top of the new year.

So far in 2016, he has released a slew of material, including his recent WorldstarHipHop premiered video featuring Fabolous. For Dyme, fame and fortune is one thing, but the bigger picture for him is being able to change the standard way of thinking in our culture. He wants to pave the wave for others to express themselves freely. Dyme’s passion is to lead the new generation forward, in honor of legends before him.

Recently, Dyme made another stop at Hot 97 – after being a guest on Hip Hop Mike’s podcast a few weeks back – as a participant in DJ Enuff’s The Hot Box. The Crown Heights representative performed his lead single, “That Chicken” and followed it up with a freestyle (8:00 minute mark).

The Title of Biggest Troll Goes To Ebro Darden, Recants Statements Regarding Drake & Eminem Says “It Was Such A Joke”

Yesterday Hot 97‘s Ebro Darden made statements regarding a conversation he allegedly had with Drake over the weekend at the OVO Fest. In this conversation Ebro claimed that he asked Drizzy about rumors that Eminem was working on a diss track aimed at the 6 God to which he allegedly responded, “That’s not going to happen. He’d never do that. And if he did, I got something for him to.’”

Well it looks like that’s not going to happen because it never was. Ebro took to Twitter to claim that the comments he made regarding his conversation with the Toronto emcee were false and made in jest.

Eminem’s manager Paul Rosenberg and members of Slaughterhouse also took to Twitter to dispel the rumors that there was an Em diss track directed at Drake out there.

Now Ebro seems perplexed at the fact that his comments were taken as fact. As an authority in hip-hop and an industry insider representing one of the biggest stations in New York City his word is bond. So if it was in fact a joke that should have been made clear immediately, not after various outlets ran with the story that a beef was brewing with Drake and Eminem. Shame on you Ebro!

In the words of Drizzy himself,

A few quotes from Rita

About dating rumors with Wiz Khalifa:

Myself and Wiz have nothing going on at all — just our new single “Religion,” she laughs.

The “Body On Me” collaboration with Chris Brown:

It’s not like I was looking for the next person I got collab with to get me on, she says sarcastically. Chris Brown and I happen to be in the same building but in two different studios. Once I got word he was in the building, we linked, talked and agreed to do a future collab right on the spot. It had nothing to do with management or anything. It was all organic.

Afterwards, Rita meet with her fans and took a special photo with each person.

Rita looked great while rocking a “Looney Tunes” Leather Moschino Jacket that got our immediate approval! She was FLY!

Shouts out to Coors Light & Hot 97 for a successful event!
