Just in time for the holidays, celebs are in the spirit of giving including, NBA star Carmelo Anthony and Real Housewife of Atlanta Kandi Burruss, who both hosted private screenings of Illumination’s new animated film SING on behalf of their foundations.
On Monday, December 19th, the Carmelo Anthony Foundation hosted a screening at the Regal E Walk Theater in New York.
It’s fly guy. Ludacris’s third consecutive time hosting the Billboard awards but this year he will be joined by long time friend Ciara.
With her newfound “ I got rid of a F**k boy and found a better man” glow, we are totally here for this collaboration. The Atlanta natives have not publicly worked with each other in years so its bound to be a good time. We’re hoping they will bless us with a performance of RIDE for old time’s sake.
The 2016 Billboard Award will be held in the original Sin City, Las Vegas on May 22 and it has a new venue. The brand new T- Mobile Arena will be the home of this year’s extravaganza. The show will broadcast live on ABC at 8pm E.T.
“The Billboard Music Awards is one of best awards shows to honor chart success. My great friend Ludacris and I have also shared songs together on the Billboard chart. I look forward to sharing the stage with him on this special night. It will definitely be a night to remember” said Ciara.
The finalists for the awards are still under wraps. Ludacris and Ciara are set to announce the nominees during their upcoming appearance on Good Morning America, this Monday. According to Billboard, the finalists are chosen based on key fan interactions including success with album and digital song sales. In addition, their data experts also factor in tours, streaming numbers and radio airplay. We’re anxious to hear the finalists and excited to see what the awards will have in store for us.
