Fly Trailers: HBO Drops Haunting Game of Thrones Season 6 Teaser and Posters

HBO is gearing up for the debut of Season 6 of Game of Thrones on April 24. Ahead of the premiere the network has chosen to rile fans up with a haunting and short teaser that only leaves us dying to know more.  Season 5 ended with a cliffhanger that only left fans with a lot of questions about who is alive or dead.

To complement the teaser and only further drag out the suspense, HBO has also released an array of character posters featuring characters living (or presumed to be living) and dead resting comfortably inside the hall of the Faceless Men. Introduced in Season 5, the Hall of the Faceless Men houses the countless human faces that the mysterious shapeshifting group can use to morph into. The posters are accompanied by defining quotes corresponding to each specific character.

The posters include already deceased characters Joffrey Baratheon, Oberyn Martell, and Robb Stark. The other posters feature still-living characters Jaime Lannister, Arya Stark, Sansa Stark, Tyrion Lannister, and Cersei Lannister.

Season 6 marks the first time that the show will be continuing past the current written source material of George R.R. Martin’s, A Song of Ice and Fire book series. This only means fans have no idea what to expect and what’s to come will be all the more shocking. Check out the teaser, posters, and exclusive first images below. Look out for the first official trailer, which HBO should be dropping soon.

Watch: J. Cole’s Road To Homecoming Releases Fourth Episode “Buses, Vans, and Trains” [VIDEO]

Ahead of the premiere of his HBO Special, Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming, Cole once again offered fans a behind the scenes look into his career with the release of the fourth episode of the Road To Homecoming Documentary Series.

In this weeks episode titled “Buses, Vans, and Trains”, viewers get the see the preparation that went into the creation of the emcees Forest Hills Drive Tour as well as commentary from fans, his team, and even his former landlord. Fans are given glimpses into the challenges Cole and his team faced that ranged from inclement weather delays, to sound ordinances, and time constraints.

Touring isn’t all work and no fun though. We continue to see the camaraderie that forms between everyone working on the tour, which isn’t just limited to the tour itself. Along for the ride, is producer Cam O’Bi who Cole brought on strictly for the purposes of making music. O’Bi briefly elaborated on his role explaining,

“I just jumped on tour a few days ago. I’m actually not joining it to perform. I’m not a member of the band or anything. I’m actually here to make music. Like that’s what Cole’s team wanted me here to do and he has a lot of other people here doing the same thing.”

Always keeping people around you solely focused on creating music appears to be contributing to Cole’s success. We see the talented rapper write a verse in 30 minutes and lay it down five minutes before having to hit the stage.

For his return to New York City we get to see Cole sell out the legendary venue Madison Square Garden. Once on stage, he shares with the enthusiastic crowd that he “remembers specifically” stating during his last tour in the city’s Best Buy Theater, that his return to the Big Apple would be at MSG; a monumental moment for the small town kid from North Carolina with big city dreams.

Last Night In NYC: HBO’s 3 1/2 Minutes Screening

(Joshua Bennett of The Strivers Row performed a poem dedicated to Jordan Davis.)

Recently, HBO hosted an invite-only screening of the documentary 3 1/2 Minutes, Ten Bullets at the historic Schomburg Center in Harlem, New York. The film probes the case of Jordan Davis, a black teenager, and Michael Dunn, a middle-aged white man, whose encounter over loud music outside a convenience store ended in the young man’s death.

(Dr. Jelani Cobb moderated a discussion with Davis’ Parents, Lucy McBath and Ron Davis.)

The screening was accompanied by an impactful Q&A discussion with Davis’ parents Lucy McBath and Ron Davis, moderated by University of Connecticut professor and staff writer for The New Yorker, Dr. Jelanie Cobb. During the conversation, Davis and McBath spoke about their experiences during the trial process and how their unimaginable loss led them to inspire change and hope through activism. In addition to the screening and discussion, Joshua Bennett of the New York-base poetry collective The Strivers Row, performed a special spoken-word poem dedicated to Jordan Davis.

Guests gathered inside the Schomburg Center’s Langston Hughes Auditorium for a cocktail hour and the signing of the interactive “My Life Matters Because” Art Wall – where attendees could share why their life matters.

The private screening precedes the debut of the film on November 23rd, the three-year anniversary of tragic shooting.

We don’t know if he is really GONE from the show but for now twitter wants Ollie’s blood for “killing” Jon Snow. With that said the meme reaction was amazing, peep them in the gallery below.
