sohh-season-2

Sisterhood of Hip Hop Is Back For It’s 2nd Season And The Drama Gets Even Thicker!

The FLY series returns with our girls Bia, Brianna Perry, Diamond, Nyemiah Supreme and Siya as they head to the west coast to make their mark on the music industry. Yes, the ladies have left the right-coast for the left-coast!

With new looks, new deals and new relationships (love), the SOHH cast takes us on a quick journey of their growth, struggles, mastering that one solid record hit, trust issues and so much more.

Let’s recap for you:

  1. Bia is now in love with her new boo Magic, while enjoying her new label home at RCA Records.
  2. Brianna Perry paces for that #1 record that will take her to the top. But management refuses to write anymore checks until that happens. And, to add fuel to the fire, Brianna ends up in a pair of handcuffs from a physical incident with an alleged “Queen of The Underground” female rapper by the name of Chloe.
  3. Siya is out in the streets making it rain with 12 of her friends, going way over her budget, and loosing focus. T-Pain shows interest in signing the femcee but will she leave Tank behind?
  4. Diamond has found a new man and falls in love again, but with an incarcerated manager, the “Knuck If You Buck” artist isn’t trusting anyone at her label.
  5. Nyemiah Supreme has been boo’d up with SFPL‘s Cover Guy, Mack Wilds. She now wants to take her music in a more emotional and deeper direction, but her manager is not here for it at all. And of course, she and Diamond are at each other’s necks yet again.

Irv Gotti, Pusha T, Da Brat, Problem, Adrienne Bailon and Funkmaster Flex also jumps in this season to drop off a few advice gems to the cast, with Executive Producer of SOHH, Rapper T.I..

Check out the full trailer below:

The new season of ‘Sisterhood of Hip Hop’ premieres Tuesday, June 9 at 9/8c.

[The Daily Word] Peter Rosenberg Foils Foxy Brown’s Return To The Stage, YMCMB snubs Summer Jam & DJ FunkMasterFlex declares ‘War’ on Nicki MInaj

About Summer Jam 2012 …

Before I detail the actual show, I need to fill you in on just a few of the nights dramatic points.

At about 7pm, Twitter went insane with tweets from Nicki Minaj and her supporters, irate with comments about Hot 97 DJ Peter Rosenberg. And boy were the barbz pissy …

Why do you ask? “Allegedly” Peter said that she [Nicki] better not perform that “wack ass Starships” track …and said “We about that real hip-hop, not ‘Starships.’”

I mean …

Anyone who knows Rosenberg, knows his thoughts on Nicki. Were they suppose to change because she was in the building? He wasn’t paying her to be there, HOT 97 was.

Wayne confirmed YMCMB’s exit minutes later by tweeting: “Young Money ain’t doing summer jam.”

Then came Nicki …

Wow. U niggaz just fucked up history. But the President has spoken. #YMCMB

I go above and beyond for my fans. But won’t ever go against wayne’s word. What he says, goes.

Then came Jae Millz

 “Radio personality with NO personality… f— n—a!!! & u ain’t even black…”

And Nicki to responded,

“Not blak but on blak radio dissin blak women.”

I’m still trying to figure out when he dissed black women?

*waits*

I’m only upset that Nicki took half the line-up with her, including; Camron, Drake, Beenie Man,  and …

Foxy Brown !!!!!!

Ungh, bringing Foxy out would have been simply amazing! *sighs* Well at least to ME.

Although …

Lil’ Kim wasn’t amused.

But nobody took it harder than resident DJ Funkmasterflex

And I quote;

“We ain’t fu**in’ with commercial rappers no more,”

“If you lost the fu**in’ streets, it’s your fault.”

“If you don’t go gold, it’s your fault.”

“I’m dedicated to tearing you down,”

“If you not buying no more commercial albums, hit me on Twitter right now.”

Flex promised to start his campaign to end Nicki’s career at 7pm tonight.

Oh Boy …

Stay Tuned…

-Stay Fly!
