WATCH: Jim Jones Gets Emotional When Breaking Down The Rise and Fall of Dipset

Jim Jones has been the talk of the hip-hop world as of late. He recently ended his 13-year-old beef with Jay Z when he signed with Roc Nation. Last night Jimmy stopped by Funk Flex’s show to talk about his recent moves but in the process we got a very in-depth interview from Dipset’s capo.

We all know Jim Jones to be one of the toughest individuals in the hip-hop world, but during the interview we got a chance to see a side of Jim Jones we have never seen before. During the interview we learned that the current state of Dipset and his damaged relationship with Cam’Ron really hurt him. Jim Jones breaks down the details of how the iconic rap stable came to be, his role in forming the group and the blood, sweat and tears he put into Dipset.

Jim also spoke about Max B, French Montana and of course Jay Z in the very interesting interview. Do yourself a favor and watch it in its entirety. We just hope that one day Jim and Cam’Ron can work things out bring Dipset back cause hip-hop truly needs it.

Funk Flex Chimes In On Drake and J.Lo Possibly Dating & Gets Roasted On Twitter!

Funk Flex clearly hasn’t gotten over his beef with Drake yet! Last night the often boisterous but legendary Hot 97 DJ felt the need give his two cents on Drake and Jennifer Lopez reportedly dating. Still bitter from the huge L both he and Meek Mill suffered at the hands of Drake he took his Twitter account last night and tweeted:

Obviously caping for Diddy who honestly doesn’t need anyone to defend him cause we are quite sure he could care less about who J.Lo is dating at this point. Flex clearly needs to just do like Elsa sang about in Frozen and:

Twitter also felt the need to tell Flex he just needs to sit this one out and immediately slandered the DJ. Here are some of the tweets thrown Flex’s way:

No one is here for Flex clearly. Hit the gallery below to see more Tweets calling out Flex on his apparent hate for Drake:

[Last Night In NYC] Hot 97 Christmas Extravaganza Hosted By Nicki Minaj

Last night December 25th at Webster Hall in NYC, Hot 97 had a little extravaganza and the YMCMB first lady Nicki Minaj was the host of the night. In the spirit of the holiday season Nicki and Hot 97 put aside their differences for the night, the rapper/ pop star and the station have been at odds since the whole Summer Jam fiasco this past summer. The barbz filed in Webster Hall to see the head Barb in charge, Nicki was a tad bit late for the party and folks definitely began to notice. Luckily Hot 97 Djay’s Spynfo, Funk Flex, Young Chow and Magic kept the crowd amped and ready for when pink princess finally arrived.

Nicki finally arrived but spent most of her time in the VIP area of Webster Hall occasionally revealing herself to her anxious fans. Booing could eventually be heard as fans some whom paid $25 and in some cases $50 at the door to see Nicki Minaj were not pleased that she wasn’t on the stage. Nicki got on the mic and let the crowd know that she wasn’t there to perform that night, Mr Cee cleared things up as he told Nicki the fans just want her to come to the stage.

Legendary DJ Funk Flex did what he does best on the wheels of steel playing all the hits and keeping the crowds energy level up.

MMG’s own Meek Mill was in attendance as well as Jim Jones and Irv Gotti.

Once on stage Nicki greeted fans in the front of the stage, she then started an impromptu twerk contest asking for  5 “ratchet” females to come to the stage. The twerk contest was a fail for the most part but Nicki still rewarded the young ladies by throwing a handful of $100 bills in the air.

Overall there was large sense of confusion and disappointment amongst the people in the building as they were leaving. To Nicki’s defense it clearly said she was hosting on the flyer for the party BUT she could have performed at least ONE song, Well check out the rest of the photos from the situation last night.
