[Fly-LIGHTs] Solange Knowles for Complex/ Karry Washington for Vanity Fair/Evelyn Lozada for Juicy Magazine/ Taraji P. Henson, Kevin Hart & Micheal Ealy for Essence Magazine…

Fly girl, Solange Knowles taps into her fashion talents for a fashion spread in the recent ‘Women Are Complex Too’ feature for Complex Magazine.

Inside she answered a variety of unusual questions which I happened to love, here are a few excerpts …

I’d rather be on the cast of Love & Hip-Hop than Project Runway.
I’ve never seen Project Runway, but I’m a huge Chrissy [Love & Hip-Hop star Christine Lampkin] fan. I’d need to take boxing lessons from her first though, nahmean?

I’d rather be the protector than the protected.
I’m naturally the protector—being a mother and having a famous family. You have to navigate when it’s right to protect. I’ve made mistakes, but just know, if you step to me and mine, me and Chrissy gon’ have to f-ck you up.

The amazing Kerry Washington was included in the big TV feature in Vanity Fair‘s May 2012 issue. Kerry was spotlighted for her role in the TV Drama  “Scandal”.

Certified Mean Girl, Evelyn Lozada, star of Basketball Wives, covers the May/June issue of Juicy magazine as the No.1 bad girl on reality TV.

Ev chats about being checked by fiancé, Chad Ochocinco, on Twitter, the pros and cons of acting up on the small screen, motherhood and her lucrative makeup and book deals. Plus, she speaks to the other bad girls that you love to hate, including Tami Roman, Tamar Braxton, Mama Jones, Chrissy Lampkin and Gloria Govan.

And with the upcoming romatic comedy jawn, Think Like A Man, hitting theaters April 20th, (saw a screening yesterday and your gonna love it) Taraji P Henson covers the May issue of Essence with a double header including funny man Kevin Hart and heart throb Micheal Ealy.

[Fly-LIGHTs] Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade Cover Essence …

Did they get married?

Dwyane Wade puts his love for Actress Gabrielle Union on full display in the upcoming Love & Basketball issue of ESSENCE magazine.

Since the release of these photo’s, Essence has been attacked rather largely by hundreds of comments concerning the way the couple started their relationship. That’s not our concern over here at SFPL, I’m more concerned about their status as an actual couple. Most couple covers have one thing in common, marriage.

I mean who’s gonna get the next cover?

Wiz and Amber?

Chris Brown and this girl?

Lil’ Wayne and this girl?

We’re just saying.

I love the depiction of brown love when longevity is produced and projected to the masses. Marriage is a sign of everlasting love, one that should be glorified. This boyfriend/girlfriend situation doesn’t work for us.

Just my opinion.
