SFPL Music: DJ Japancakes’ Releases Exclusive Mix for Master & Dynamic feat. Erykah Badu, Drake & more

With Master & Dynamic starting to make some serious noise within the music industry, we wanted to feature the latest collaboration: an exclusive mix created by DJ Japancakes.
If unfamiliar, DJ Japancakes has spent time deejaying across the globe, playing at events in New York City, Tokyo, Hong Kong and more as he honed in on the art of moving crowds through a mix of contemporary and old school music. His blend of hip-hop, jazz, soul and funk has been praised by everyone from Complex to Vogue, who stated that, “His eclectic taste and inherent ability to keep guests jovial and dancing is unmatched.”
The mix is a part of Master & Dynamic’s growing mix series, which will feature a new artist roughly every two weeks. The program follows the success of the New York City-based premium audio brand’s In-Residence series, which most recently touted artist Mas Ysa during its third iteration.
In the mix, you will find tunes by Drake, Erykah Badu, D.R.A.M., Post Malone, Queen Latifah, Kendrick Lamar just to start things off with a plethora of more music.

Towards the bitter end of Elliot’s set, it seems as her time was up, once her mic was completely turned off following the lights on stage. Leaving, singer Monica behind the curtains as she was about to step out, as the surprise guest.

Missy then proceeded to pull the singer by her hand, as she waved to crowd in the dark. It’s unfortunate that it happened so prematurely, but eventually Missy was brought back on-stage after Usher‘s set with the Essence crew giving a public apology for the mishap.
