Eminem Teases New Album, Unleashes “Campaign Speech” [New Music]

Guess who’s back? Shady’s back!

Eminem took to Twitter yesterday to announce that he is currently working on a new album. Not only did the real Slim Shady tease the album; but he offered us a taste of what’s in store, delivering a new record titled “Campaign Speech.”

The almost 8-minute long track features Em showcasing his superb rhyme skills using multi-syllable patterns and unapologetically unleashing his thoughts on a range of topics from Donald Trump to the death of Eric Garner and even George Zimmerman.

On Donald Trump:

“Consider me a dangerous man / But you should be afraid of this dang candidate / You say Trump don’t kiss ass like a puppet / ‘Cause he runs his campaign with his own cash for the fundin’ / And that’s what you wanted / A fuckin’ loose cannon who’s blunt with his hand on the button / Who doesn’t have to answer to no one—great idea!”

On George Zimmerman:

“Dressing George Zimmerman in a fluorescent orange / Dress and four-inch / Heels to address the court / With a bullseye on his back, his whole chest and torso / Are left on the doorsteps of Trayvon’s dad as a present for him / In my present form / I’m Desert Storm.”

Marshall’s forthcoming album will follow 2013’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2.

Drake Brings Eminem Out During Detroit Show, Makes For One Legendary Hip-Hop Moment

Last night Drake and Eminem joined forces on stage for what is already one of hip-hop’s most legendary moments. Drizzy brought Em out during the Detroit stop of his Summer Sixteen Tour and of course everyone in attendance lost their damn minds and rightfully so.

This epic moment follows news of there being a rumored Em diss track aimed at the Toronto emcee after statements made by Hot 97‘s Ebro Darden about a conversation he had with Drizzy at OVO Fest. This turned out to be false as Darden later clarified that his comments were made in jest.

The Detroit spitter made his entrance during Drake’s performance of “Forever” just his in time for him to spit his killer verse on the monster smash. Drake further dispelled the rumors of bad blood between the two by paying his respects.

“Make some noise for the greatest rapper to ever get on a motherf–king microphone. He goes by the name of Eminem—legendary s–t tonight.”

The feeling was mutual for Eminem who made sure his city showed Drizzy the adoration he deserves.

“It’s an honor to share the stage with this man right here. Detroit one more time, make Drake feel the love.”

It was a LEGENDARY NIGHT indeed. Check out footage of Drake and Em uniting on stage below.

The Title of Biggest Troll Goes To Ebro Darden, Recants Statements Regarding Drake & Eminem Says “It Was Such A Joke”

Yesterday Hot 97‘s Ebro Darden made statements regarding a conversation he allegedly had with Drake over the weekend at the OVO Fest. In this conversation Ebro claimed that he asked Drizzy about rumors that Eminem was working on a diss track aimed at the 6 God to which he allegedly responded, “That’s not going to happen. He’d never do that. And if he did, I got something for him to.’”

Well it looks like that’s not going to happen because it never was. Ebro took to Twitter to claim that the comments he made regarding his conversation with the Toronto emcee were false and made in jest.

Eminem’s manager Paul Rosenberg and members of Slaughterhouse also took to Twitter to dispel the rumors that there was an Em diss track directed at Drake out there.

Now Ebro seems perplexed at the fact that his comments were taken as fact. As an authority in hip-hop and an industry insider representing one of the biggest stations in New York City his word is bond. So if it was in fact a joke that should have been made clear immediately, not after various outlets ran with the story that a beef was brewing with Drake and Eminem. Shame on you Ebro!

In the words of Drizzy himself,

New Video: Eminem – “Phenomenal” (Full Music Film)

eminem new video phenomenal

Eminem crashes the internet on a good Saturday by silently dropping his new Full Music Film “Phenomenal” on Apple Music‘s Connect.

The song was birthed the rapper’s executive produced Southpaw soundtrack.

In the 7-minute clip, Marshall throws a few punches and kicks, in super strength fashion, after waking up on a hospital bed with no memory of why he was there in the first place. As he tries to leave, just minutes after pulling IV’s out of his arms paired with a massive headache and dizziness, the rapper proceeds to walk out the door, only to be suddenly confronted by a doctor who tries to reprimand him, but Eminem fights back — recognizing that he now has special powers. He then fights his way out of the establishment, taking each guard down, one-by-one. But it only starts there.

Filmed in Los Angeles, you can also catch appearances by John Malkovich, Randall Park and Dr. Dre. The official ‘Southpaw’ soundtrack makes its debut July 24th.

With every ounce of my blood, with every breath in my lungs, won’t stop until I’m phenomenal.
