Draya Michele is now a mommy of two! The reality star gave birth to her precious baby boy Jru “Drew” Scandrick. This is her first child with the Dallas Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick. The on and off again couple welcomed their 6.5lbs. bundle of joy into their growing family.
“We are super excited to add our sixth member to the family. He’s such a good, healthy baby and everyone is already infatuated with him. His brother and sisters are in love.”
The Perfect Match star is already a mom to her handsome 13 year old son, Kniko and a step mother to Orlando’s twin daughters Taylor and Tatiana.
While we enjoyed Draya’s flawless photo shoots with her baby bump, we are dying to see baby Jru. Our guess is Draya won’t go public until her snapback is real.
Draya Michele and fiancé Orlando Scandrick, of the Dallas Cowboys; are expecting! Michelle revealed the news exclusively to PEOPLE, where she gushed about being “instantly excited”.
This will be the couple’s first child. Michelle has a 13 year-old son Kniko and Scandrick is a father to 6-year-old twin girls, Taylor and Tatiana. Michelle shared with PEOPLE that they learned the sex of the baby four weeks early.
“We made an appointment to see the sex of the baby for 16 weeks, but surprisingly at 12 weeks, our doctor was able to see that he was a boy.”
While Michelle was able to keep her pregnancy under wraps to the public eye she wasn’t able to keep the secret from her son for long. Kniko grew suspicious and became concerned for her health during the few weeks she did experience morning sickness.
“I wasn’t sick for longer than three weeks and I’ve been dieting and keeping up with cardio to keep my weight down.”
Kniko’s concern soon turned into excitement once he learned he was going to be a big brother. The expecting mom shared,
“I honestly felt really bad keeping it a secret from him so I made sure that he was one of the very first people that I told.
“He’s excited to be a big brother and wants to teach him soccer.”
The actress and entrepreneur has no plans to slow down, even as she enters her final trimester.
“I’m a very busy lady and I love taking my bump to work with me.”
As far as what’s keeping her so busy, the former Basketball Wives star revealed,
“I plan on working on the 2016 summer collection of Mint Swimand I have a few movies premiering as well as a TV show.”
Michelle is definitely wearing her pregnancy effortlessly. Congratulations to Draya and Omar!
