19-year-old Kyndall released her 6-track debut EP Still Down via Atlantic Records just shy of a month ago. She was also apart of our Fly Artist RoundUp, which showcases hot new talent.
Today – she’s back with her latest video for “Close To Me” which premiered exclusively via VIBE. The video was shot on the beach in Kyndall’s hometown of Galveston, Texas.

On her debut EP, Kyndall’s called upon the talents of Boi 1da (Drake, Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar), Chef Tone (Trey Songz, R. Kelly, Jamie Foxx), Maejor Ali (Justin Bieber, Drake, Kelly Rowland) & DJ Dahi (Drake, Lily Allen, Big Sean) to hole up in Houston and Atlanta to work on new material, giving birth to Still Down. It’s a heap of gritty, bass heavy R&B that she tackles with stunning lilt and passionate lyrics detailing her first love.
