Last Night In Hollywood: Superstar DIPLO, Justin Combs and More Party it Up At AOD Penthouse

This week, the stars were aligned in Hollywood with major Superstar DJ, Diplo inside of AOD Penthouse.

The night was filled with beautiful ladies and VIP’s partying together. Spotted in VIP was also model Bria Myles who has an announcement coming soon.

Justin Combs was spotted with his crew as they provided all of the dance moves.

Keeping the crowd entertained was New York native, DJ Mark Da Spot, Florida rapper Trap Beckham whose club banger called “Birthday Girl” was playing throughout the venue. After that song was played, next up was LA Rapper, Jay-305 hit song “Yuck it UP”. Popular “CoCo” rapper OT Genesis was in VIP sharing some fun with Record Exec Dallas Martin.

Last Night In NYC: JoJo Performs at Live@837 Fall Concert Series

Last Night In NYC, Samsung 837, the brand’s experiential flagship in New York’s Meatpacking District opened their doors for pop artist JoJo for the brand’s Live@837 Fall Concert Series with an intimate performance for fans and industry tastemakers.

JoJo played new music from her new album, Mad Love and sat down for a Q&A with Buzzfeed’s Kristen Harris where they discussed all things music and beyond. During her interview, she offered words of advice and insight for guests.

JoJo also performed top hits for the first time from her newly released album in front of fans at Club 837. Fans posed for a 360 photo with JoJo, mid-performance using Samsung’s 360 camera, which gives a full-range view for incredible moments as such. Immediately following her epic stage play, JoJo met with enthusiastic fans for photo-ops.

All summer-long 837 brought unprecedented access to the hottest musical acts with performances by Gwen Stefani and Diplo, St. Lucia, Capital Cities, Cold War Kids and more. The space has quickly become one of the hottest concert venues in NYC and it doesn’t even sell tickets. Samsung provides special access to unexpected moments, and with the design of the 837, everyone has a front row view.

M.I.A. Builds Anticipation For AIM, Releases “Bird Song” Remix With Diplo

Though there may have been some bad blood between the musicians in the past, M.I.A. and Diplo put that all aside reuniting for a remix to her record “Bird Song.”

Appearing on her fifth and final studio album AIM, “Bird Song” finds Diplo adding his flare to the Blaqstarr remix of the banger that surfaced last week; with M.I.A. providing plenty of bird-inspired lines.

Both versions of the track will appear on M.I.A.’s AIM which drops September 9. Yesterday the controversial artist revealed the tracklisting on Instagram. Listen to M.I.A. and Diplo’s “Bird Song” collaboration and check out the tracklisting for her final album below.

New Music: ALUS feat. Dougie F – “Talk It”

The 22 y/o rising superstar ALUS has been building anticipation on the release of her first EP Alustrious II. Premiered today on The Source, she graces us with the first single off of Alustrious II by dropping this Jersey-club banger, “Talk It” produced by The Water Boyz.

In the song, you hear the more controversial side of ALUS, as the hook proclaims “show me what that mouf do”; forcing any man that approaches her to not just talk about it, but be about it. Alus has brought along fellow New Jersey native and Diplo cosign, Dougie F for a feature. The official track is said to be a radio smash, and we’re completely here for it! A music video was recently shot for the song, which will makes its debut soon.

New Video: Skrillex and Diplo feat. Justin Bieber – “Where Are Ü Now”

Skrillex and Diplo team up with Justin Bieber for the most-anticipated visual entitled “Where Are Ü Now.” Both super producers have joined forces, which formed the name Jack Ü. The official track currently resides in the Billboard‘s Top 20 Dance Chart; making it the duo’s first hit single as a team.

In the video, Justin lays down his soulful vocals in the midst of an array of colors and drawing, mapping out Bieber’s inner feelings.

 

“You have art being done in the background where they are actually taking each frame and giving it to an artist and they all are painting,” Bieber told ABC News.

“We rented out an art gallery and then from there we took all the frames from the video and invited different artists, fans, whoever wanted to come and draw on the different framed,” DJ and producer Skrillex added.

K-Pop Artist CL Gets Gully Along with Diplo, Riff Raff & OG Maco on “Doctor Pepper” [Fly Music]

The Gullies unite! CL, Diplo, Riff Raff and OG Maco come together for a collaborative track entitled “Doctor Pepper.” K-Pop artist CL is in preparation to release her English language album, and based on what she is offering in this new tune — we are ready to see she has in-store next!

CL speaks about how the song came into fruition:

“Diplo canceled a session on me, and I was so mad at him. I was drinking a can of Dr. Pepper and wrote the song so I could go home as soon as possible,” CL told The FADER, explaining the song’s glorious nonsense refrain. “Diplo ended up loving it!”

Diplo says:

“CL and I go back a long way, from the first time YG contacted me about six years ago,” he told The FADER. “I ended up being in the video for Chris Brown’s ‘Look At Me Now’ and I met GD and Top [of BIGBANG]. I worked with them before I knew what K-pop was, to be honest.”
