Fab loves to draw inspiration from classic movies and this time his film of choice is “Face Off”. In the visual Fab portrays the criminal Castor Troy or as he cleverly describes it Fabstor Troy while Dave East portrays his nemesis FBI Agent Sean Archer. Fly Visual: Haddy Racks and Dave East Pay Homage to Juice in “Resumé” [Official Video]


Remember the gritty side of NYC rap? That rap when you didn’t have any money in your pocket but the hunger and dream of being the top mc was real? Well, thanks to the lyricists Haddy Racks and Dave East the feel of New York Hip Hop is back.

In this new visual, both Haddy and Dave pay homage to the classic film Juice in the dramatic Jus Frank-directed visual for “Resumé”. Produced by Buda and Grandz, the official song is the title track from Haddy Racks’ upcoming album, which was recorded in the legendary DITC Studios.

Watch: Dave East – “Cut It (Freestyle)” [Video]


Harlem rapper Dave East, has finally released the visual for his “Cut It (Freestyle)” after teasing fans on Instagram for weeks. East’s take on the O.T. Genasis and Young Dolph’s “Cut It” is short, but straightforward. The emcee is seen sporting a vintage Linx Beach jacket, posted up in the projects, sippin’ and chillin’ with his boys as he drops bars.

Fly Mixtape: Fabolous – ‘Summertime Shootout’


Right on Thanksgiving Day, Brooklyn’s own, Fabolous delivered some good music in addition to all of the food that was going around worldwide.

The established artist debuted his new mixtape Summertime Shootout, which features appearances by: Nicki Minaj, Trey Songz, Jazzy, The Weeknd, Bryson Tiller, Rich Homie Quan, Dave East and more.

The project also Production from: Sonaro, Automatik, Cardiak & Critical, Amadeus, Mark Henry, Ayo, Keyz, Kae Em, Araab Muzik and more.

Fabolous remixes a few of his favorite tunes from Bryson’s [“Sorry Not Sorry”], Weeknd’s [“Tell Ya Friends”], and LL Cool’s 90’s hit [“Doin’ It”], in which he links with Nicki and Trey on the classic beat. Minaj, of course, reps her hood of Queens, New York, as Songz carries out the chorus of the song.

Fly Mixtape: Trey Songz – ‘To Whom It May Concern’


Trey Songz celebrates his 31st birthday by releasing a surprise mixtape entitled To Whom It May Concern. The project is hosted by DJ Drama with appearances by Harlem, New York’s own, Dave East, MIKExANGEL, Trey’s artist, J.R., and Chisanity.
