Converse releases “Planetary Energy,” the new GZA and Sweet Valley collaboration off the brand’s latest installment of the Cons EP series, Cons EP VOL. 3.

“Planetary Energy” spotlights GZA‘s signature pensive rhymes over trip-hop-influenced beats created by Sweet Valley duo, Nathan and Kynan Williams. The track was written and recorded by GZA at the Converse Rubber Tracks recording studio, a state-of-the-art studio in Brooklyn, NY that provides emerging artists with the incredible opportunity to record music in a high-quality studio, at no cost.

Cons EP Vol. 3 is a unique music compilation that brings together eight incredible artists from varying genres to create four new tracks. A celebration of musical diversity, ‘Cons EP Vol. 3’ follows in the footsteps of Cons EP Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, two predecessors that featured the likes of Vince Staples, Bad Rabbits, Trash Talk, The Internet, RATKING, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Flatbush Zombies, and many more. ‘Cons EP Vol. 3’ is slated to continue colliding the worlds of hip-hop, rock, metal, electronic, and more through original, innovative music with the fourth and final track slated for release this summer.
