Lately, there has been full of surprises, especially in music….but now, in Comedy?!
Comedic vet, Eddie Murphy has been known to make us laugh from the big screen and to center stage, and has recently been casted to play the late Richard Pryor in an upcoming biopic.
But this week, Murphy headed over to Los Angeles’ own, The Comedy Store and performed a surprise stand-up set, marking Eddie’s first time doing stand-up in 25 years, as he delivered continuos jokes in all of 10-minutes.
Of course, there was a strict “no cell phone policy,” so there was absolutely no footage from the set. That rule didn’t hold Arsenio Hall back at all as he tweeted:
Check out the new trailer for GET HARD, starring Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell. ‘GET HARD’ opens in theaters nationwide on March 27th!
Check out the clip below:
When millionaire hedge fund manager James (Will Ferrell) is nailed for fraud and bound for a stretch in San Quentin, the judge gives him 30 days to get his affairs in order. Desperate, he turns to Darnell (Kevin Hart) to prep him for a life behind bars. But despite James’ one-percenter assumptions, Darnell is a hard-working small business owner who has never received a parking ticket, let alone been to prison.
Together, the two men do whatever it takes for James to “get hard” and, in the process, discover how wrong they were about a lot of things – including each other.
In Jimmy Kimmel‘s Pedestrian Question series, the late night host honors Black History Month, as he hits the streets of Los Angeles asking random white people if they have black friends. You will be surprise at some of the answers that you may hear.
When asked the hilarious question, Chuck from Ohio claimed he had a black friend but when asked to name the friend, Chuck could not even pull a name out if his pocket if he wanted to.
However, an Australian woman seemed to be a bit turned when asked if you wanted a black friend. Lol!
A random token black guy was asked if he had any white friends. He answered:
No, no not really.
When asked why:
I don’t know. White people are kinda scary. (as he chuckles)
