[The Daily Word] Jennifer Lopez Turns 43 & Get’s Replaced By Mariah Carey on American Idol…

Well if this is what the new 43 looks like, I’ll take a to-go plate please!

Touch.

It may be her birthday, but she’s not really having the best week ever. According to Reports J-Lo was lobbying for more money  in negotiaitions for her next season on Fox’s American Idol as a judge. The show not only denied her friend request, but they replaced her with Pop Icon, Mariah Carey and allegedly paid Mariah the same amount Jennifer was asking for.

Noooooo Shadddddddeeeeee

Carey will allegedly be receiving $17-$18 million for her services and that’s just for one season.

Meanwhile, Britney Spears is getting a cool $15million check for her new X Factor USA gig.  Jenny earned about $12 million for her most recent gig on the show and in my opinion she was lucky to get that.

Real Talk, American Idol is a singing competition, yes, being well rounded as an entertainer is a plus, but I’m under the firm impression that singers should be judged by Amazing singers or amazing producers with experienced working with amazing singers.

Jenny didn’t fit that bill at all. She should have been happy to be up there collecting 12 Million dollars to cry and be emotional. See where that greedy ish will get you ….

J-Lo’s thoughts on how Mariah will do?

”I think (she’ll do well), yeah! Why not?” She’s a musician for a long time she has a lot of experience. And it’s that experience you offer them at the end of the day, the contestants just want to get better and grow through the process.”
