Just off the heels of Brave’s appearance on the final reunion episode of TV One‘s R&B Divas: L.A., hosted by talk show queen Wendy Williams, the talented diva will embark on the next chapter of her career. On Monday, May 21st, singer Brave Williams is set to release her first solo project entitled Fearless.
In case you missed it, in 2009, before going solo, Brave was signed to Jive records as part of female group RichGirl. Together, the group pumped out a few Billboard hits including their first singles; “24’s,” and “He Ain’t Wit Me Now.” They also toured as the opening act for Beyonce’s I Am Sasha Fierce tour, main acts for the National Burger King Summer Tour, and they collaborated with Rick Ross and Fabolous, on their hit single “Swagger Right” before ultimately breaking up in 2011. After the break-up, Brave took a brief hiatus from music and began to pursue a career in the arts, landing roles in both television and film, such as the character of Bambi on BET’s The Get Up, a featured singer in TLC’s, Crazy Sexy Cool film on VH1 and currently a new cast member on TV One’s successful franchise, “R&B Divas.”
As stated, the Baltimore-raised fearless woman was once a member RichGirl, which included fellow crooner Sevyn Streeter. What you may not is, Brave was also the co-founder of the girl group, slated to be the “next Destiny Child,” receiving boisterous praise from the Queen Bey herself. Now, poised to debut her solo project, Brave offers a mixture of sultry R&B melodic tunes to this EP, with a hip hop edge that is raw and reveals all about love, life and fun times with friends. “Oooh Luv Ya,” produced by Milk N Sizz and Ivan Barias (Mary J Blige, Keyshia Cole, Jazmin Sullivan), was the first release from the EP and has already created radio buzz and heavy stream download support. The official “Oooh Luv Ya” video is directed by Lil’ Chris Robinson. Her follow up single “Road Trippin,” produced by Fusion, Ghost, and Ivan Barias and written by Brave and Candy Shields, has organically become a viral hit. This song has been labeled the Baltimore anthem because the fan-created video pays homage to the Baltimore bike scene.
Brave has been writing relentlessly, working closely with Candy Shields, Kristal “Tytewriter” Oliver (Diddy, Kanye West and Danity Kane), and a few others to bring the “FEARLESS” story to life. She has also pulled in a plethora of talented producers to create her sound, including: Ivan Barias (Mary J. Blige, Keyshia Cole, Jazmin Sullivan), Deezle (Lil’ Wayne, T.I., Destiny’s Child), and Chris N Teeb (Jennifer Lopez, Ciara, 50 Cent).

Brave will also be hosting the African American Festival (AAF) in her hometown on Saturday, June 20, 2015. AAF is considered to be the largest music festival on the east coast.
