[Video] Brandy Feat. Chris Brown ‘Put It Down’ (Teaser)

Although most teasers get on my last nerve, this one doesn’t bother me so much. Maybe because it’s Brandy and we’ve been waiting for this moment for so long, that we’ll take any clip we can get until she releases the final project.

With so many promo shots out there and an energetic clip of a DC performance showing a vibrant and entertaining Brandy belting the single out, we are almost at the brink.

Let’s get this video out please!

Step into the teaser below …

And step into her DC performance ….

[Fly-LIGHTs] Best Dressed At The 2012 Billboard Music Awards

The stars shined brightly on the red carpet of the 2012 Billboard Music Awards. Here’s a recap of the best dressed inductees including Swizz Beatz and his lovely wife Alicia Keys. Swizzy killed them in an all white tailored number with brown loafers with crocodile detailing. While his lady sizzled in all black from the neck down.

Because from the neck up, it was tragic. The braid doesn’t bother me too much, but the 15 pairs of earrings going up her ear is ….

Yes, Usher Raymond gets my vote for best dressed male.

Fix Ya Face Please …

His color pattern was unconventional and trendy. The color is so spring, and the denim button up and grey lace-ups pulled the entire look together. There’s nothing safe about this look and I absolutely love it!

Best Friend in our head, Brandy paid Homage to Donna Summer with an amazing afro wig that made me want to start a soul train line!

She looked great in a nude dress with gold metallic detailing, paired nicely with gold peep toes and clutch.

Katy Perry traded in her usual unpredictable fashion antics for a stunning shimmery number and minimal accessories.

We weren’t to into her performance tho … she definitely ripped off Pink to the third power.

Pink’s Encore Katy’s performance ….

Pink’s Grammy performance …

And lastly, America’s Sweetheart … Taylor Swift … killed us with her fake surprise face last night ….

Yes Taylor is always surprised, it makes me sick. You could tell her your throwing a surprise birthday party for her and drive her there and she’d still walk in with the surprised face, Have A Seat Taylor.

Her dress however, was lovely, and we couldn’t throw any shade at her accomplishments, as she received the Woman Of The Year Award which she very much deserved.

Who was your best dressed celeb?

[Fly-LIGHTs] Rihanna, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian & Brandy ….

Fly Gal, Rihanna graced the red carpet for the premiere of her new movie ‘Battleship’ in LA last night. Clad in a white halter gown by Adam Selman and white Manolo Blahnik shoes she looked rock star chic.

Not into the hair as much but #WeLike the dress.

But are her toes on the floor?

Kanye and his new muse, Kim Kardashian took their talents to Toronto recently.  Ye was on board to support her Belle Noel spring 2012 collection jewelry launch in the Canadian city. While Kanye rocked his favorite leather pants and black hoodie, Kim opted for a more ‘Librarian’ look in a pencil skirt and blouse.

I don’t know how long more I can wait for some real fashion moments from these two.

And Brandy debuted a new curly look recently. Clad in a black leather dress and Versace platform sandals, we are really into how great B-Rocka has been looking.

[Fly-LIGHTs] Brandy & Monica ROCK Ebony Magazine’s Music Issue …

Can you say#BOOM

Fly Girls, Brandy & Monica have been chosen to cover the Music Issue of Ebony Magazine’s June 2012 Issue.

The styling is completely on point as the ladies give you SPRING in a solid color blocking moment.

Step into a few excerpts …

Brandy On Her Boyfriend Ryan
I wish we were engaged. He’s taking a little long on the ring side of things, but I’m patient.  I wanted to impress him. I wanted him to be proud of me; I was inspired by him. So making the record and his being there, it’s just all a part of it. Him and my daughter. I want him to love my songs. I want him to love my voice.

On Her Brother Ray J
I know who he is. And I”m pissed off about some of the things I’ve been hearing. It really bothers me that [those are] the kind of things that people do for money.

He’s misunderstood. It’s one thing to have this image of [a ladies’ man], but it’s another to become this other type of person that they’re trying to make my brother out to be. I know who he is. This is a man who loves his mama and his sister and his niece. Ray J loved Kim Kardashian. They were irresponsible with their–you know–but he loved her. For five years, he was with her.  In his mind and in the world’s mind, he was in my shadow for such a long time. To watch his sister become whatever I became and to not have that same path or that same way it happened for me; to be called ‘Brandy’s brother…’ To finally break out of it, you’re going to brag; you’re going to feel something about yourself. It’s not coming from a bad place, and I can tell you: Some of the shoes Ray J’s walking in, you’d take off immediately. You wouldn’t be able to handle the type of shoes he’s in.

I’ll be picking up this issue in May, will you?

[Fly-Lights] Rick Ross, Swizz Beatz & Mike Posner Kick Off Reebok Classics Icons Campaign

Reebok launches Classics Icons campaign with Rick Ross, Swizz Beatz and Mike Posner at NY Knicks on March 14th. Special guest Brandy stopped by to say hello in support of the “It Takes a Lot to Make a Classic” initiative.

**Due to tour schedules, Tyga was unable to attend however he is part of the Classics Icons campaign as well.

Working alongside a number of recording artists from around the globe , such as Ross, Tyga and Posner,
Reebok’s “Icons” campaign tells the story of each of these musicians as they embark on their journey to
one day become a classic in their own right. They work tirelessly for their craft, running purely on their
dreams and passions.

Through the campaign, Reebok explains to be a Classic takes ambition and relentless hard work to earn
respect. Overcoming obstacles, challenges and tackling adversity face on – it’s these moments that shape
one’s life and create the story that defines them. Reebok Classics is celebrating that journey and seeks to
inspire the work of creators everywhere through this campaign – passing the torch to all the artists and
innovators who have an unwavering hunger and persistence to achieve Classic status.

“Reebok’s ‘It Takes a Lot to Make a Classic’ campaign is designed to inspire people with real life stories of
Classics in the making, and our Icons collection is the perfect companion for those willing to put in the
time,” said Todd Krinsky, Vice President of Reebok Lifestyle and Entertainment. “Reebok’s Icons line has
earned respect because of its longevity and timeless sense of style. This collection became iconic from
the moment it hit the street.”

Kicking off in the US on March 22nd, Reebok’s “It Takes a Lot to Make a Classic” campaign will debut with
short films, digital, print, and OLA media executions featuring Tyga, Mike Posner and Rick Ross. The
campaign will subsequently expand globally and will include digital, OLA, print, and social media.

Reebok’s campaign features Icon footwear styles including the Ex-o-Fit, WorkOut and Freestyle.

Hitting the scene for the first time in 1983, the Reebok Ex-o-Fit was a must-have for young men who
made fitness an integral part of their day, and was quickly adopted by the streets as a pure fashion
staple. Reebok spun countless colors and materials, while keeping the Exo-Fit’s signature “Gum” bottom.

A retro style that’s still incredibly fresh after 25 years, the WorkOut was nicknamed the “Soulja” by iconic
music artists like the Hot Boys who would call out “Souljas” in their songs. The authentic “Ice” bottom
featured on the WorkOut became Reebok’s biggest outsole execution.

An iconic “must-have” of the 1980’s pop culture scene, the Reebok Freestyle will forever go down in
history as the athletic shoe that changed the face of women’s fitness. The Freestyle represents Reebok’s
history as the brand that pioneered the women’s fitness movement and started the high-top fashion
