Mary J. Blige took her talents to the Wendy Williams show, the taping aired yesterday and the two discussed sobriety, marriage and motherhood, among other topics.
Clad in a purple leopard Dolce & Gabanna dress and black Christian Louboutin platform pumps, Mary looked like the Queen she is.

So The Academy award nominations ARE IN! And ‘The Help’ is one of the leading films grabbing nods for Best Picture, Best Actress in a Leading Role and Best Actress in a Supporting Role. Although The Help raked them in for the Big Screen, Musically, not so much. Mary J, Blige’s ‘The Living Proof,’ the original song from ‘The Help,’ wasn’t included as one of nominees for Best Original Song.
And Mary seemed a bit upset as she tweeted;
“I’m so thankful for true fans like you all. It saddens me & feels like the Academy is being mean. 2 only nominate 2 of the 5 slots is…….”
Many angry fans began to tweet claims of racism and unfairness due to the Academy’s alleged snub. But you know what? We’re indifferent. You really want to know why Mary wasn’t nominated?
Because the Academy didn’t like the song.

Let’s not think that just because ‘The Help’ is getting so much Golden Globe and Oscar Love that the song accompanying it automatically has to, because that’s not true. It’s not a joint deal. Obviously. The Academy didn’t feel the need to nominate it, and they didn’t.
Why the need to shout Racism ALL THE TIME?
But Mary was nominated for a Golden Globes in the Best Original Song category, isn’t that an amazing accomplishment in itself?

Don’t think for a second that just because Katy Perry isn’t on the red carpet that good fashion will prevail!
Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar definitely slayed a few vampires on her way to the 2012 Golden Globes. Clad in a blue and white watercolor-inspired gown by Monique Lhuillier, she looked as if she took the train and ignored all the wet paint signs.
And get this, her two year-old daughter suggested this dress.
Sarah, you need more people.
But nothing beats all that dandruff left on the red carpet floor by Mary J. Blige‘s dress.
Her Michael Kors gown was clearly a collage of all the wigs she wore during the making of ‘Share My World‘, so although that would deem it vintage, it doesn’t make it right.

Some of your favorite FLY Celebrities were snapped out on the scene during New Year’s Eve. Starting with Diddy who took his talents down to South Beach to host a private party for his celebrity friends including Vivica Fox.
I really wish Vivica was still a ‘working’ actress, she really is a good one.

Kim Porter and Nene Leakes were also on hand to countdown to 2012 in Miami. We hear Nene was good and tipsy!

Mary J. Blige looked fabulous in an off white Herve Leger Bandage dress (yes, they ain’t going nowhere) with gold embellishments on Saturday night as she rang in the New Year at the Grand Opening of RPM in Las Vegas.
Kim Kardashian and her Momager Kris Jenner were on hand at TAO Nictclub in Vegas, where it’s reported that Kim got a cool $600,000 to host the NYE Gig.

A suited and booted Chris Brown was on deck in Vegas as he hosted New Years at Club Pure.
