Listen: Bilal feat. Big K.R.I.T. – “Pleasure Toy” [Fly Music]

bilal-pleasure-toy

Today, acclaimed soul singer, Bilal premiered his new single, “Pleasure Toy” featuring Mississippi native, Big K.R.I.T. on Consequence of Sound.

CoS called the single, a “groove-filled cut is all about kicking back and letting music and a *certain someone* touch both your body and soul.” The featured song is a diversion the emotionally filled “Satellites” that Bilal premiered through NPR last month.

Bilal’s string of singles compliment the larger story of his 5th studio album, In Another Life. Bilal uses music to tell the stories of others based on what he sees in the news and stories he hears from his friends and family. He is truly taking his fans through journey of someone else’s eyes.

Take a listen below:

‘In Another Life’ will be available to fans June 30th. Pre-order the album now to receive the “Pleasure Toy” single here.

[New Music] Big K.R.I.T. – “Gettin’ Mine” Feat. Rapsody and Heather Victoria

Big K.R.I.T. is setting the tone for the new year with some new music for us. K.R.I.T. teams with North Carolina’s own Rapsody (which whom I think is very dope) for “Gettin’ Mine”  which will most likely live on K.R.I.T.’s next mixtape coming soon. K.R.I.T. and Rapsody easily skated over the 9th Wonder produced track as fellow Jamla artist Heather Victoria handles hook duties beautifully . Delve into the new track from K.R.I.T. below.

[New Video] Big K.R.I.T. – “Rich Dad, Poor Dad “

There is nothing more precious than the bond between a father and a son especially in the black community. Big K.R.I.T. touches on his relationship with his dad and the life lessons learned he learned from his from him in the KRSP directed visual for “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”. The track clearly is very personal to the Memphis rapper and also features a quick cameo from his father who expresses how proud he is of his son.  The song is easily one of the best records off K.R.I.T.’s “Live From The Underground” album and now has an amazing video to compliment it.
