Fly Visual: Beyonce Jumps Out The Gate With New Video “Formation”, Touches On Hurricane Katrina, Black Lives Matter & more [Video]

Beyonce catches us off guard once again and drops a new visual and single entitled “Formation” just on the eve of Superbowl 50! The track was co-written by Swae Lee and produced by hit-maker Mike WiLL Made-It. Additional vocals in the song are from none other than the “Bounce Queen’s”, Big Freedia and the late Messy Mya, who passed away 5 years ago [Nov. 14, 2010].

Directed by Beyonce herself and Melina Matsoukas, Blu Ivy was also spotted in the video rocking an afro which Bey refers to in her lyrics, since the media had so much to say about the celeb toddler’s hair.

With references landing back to post-Hurricane Katrina, several rumors about the Carters being involved in the Illuminati, Pro-Black/Black Lives Matter, a young-hooded Trayvon Martin, paired with picturesque dance scenes; the well-established artist made it a point to straighten-out the naysayers, and to speak up on what’s affecting our communities today.
