Mack Wilds ended his year on an extremely high note appearing alongside Adele in her visual for her mega-hit “Hello” and now he’s making sure his 2016 is just as good. With 2016 is already starting on a high note for the actor/singer with success of the VH1 original movie The Breaks which reeled in 2.6 million viewers, he follows it up with the release of the visual for his latest single “Love In The 90z”.
The song serves as the first single off his upcoming sophomore album to be released under Epic Records. On the infectious tune Mack sings about that old school kind love, the kind you used to feel listening to R&B records from the likes of Jodeci and Keith Sweat. In the Benny Boom directed visual, Mack draws inspiration from Spike Lee’s classic joint Do The Right Thing, filming on the same exact block in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn.
Mack premiered the video through Fader and spoke about the filming visual:
Shooting the ‘Love in the 90z’ video on the same block as the Spike Lee movie was shot was like nostalgia since that’s largely where the concept of the video is inspired from.Working with Benny Boom on this visual, we were able to capture the essence of New York back in the 90z, with a current, fresh feel to it.

The two just simply chill at the crib, as they can’t keep their hands and eyes off of each other, hanging with a few friends, as Chris carries on the chorus, which he mysteriously echoes in the halls.
