Bronx native, Rapper/Model/Boxer Luck is a product of some of the most acclaimed personas in music history, but this young artist is out to prove that he doesn’t need to rely on luck to become the next big sensation in music!
Son of Joy Winans, who in the late 1990’s worked as the Assistant Vice President of powerhouse label Bad Boy Records, Luck got his introduction to the music business at the age of six, spending time in the presence of label superstars such as Notorious BIG, Mase, The Lox, Black Rob and company CEO, Sean “P. Diddy” Combs. These early childhood associations had a great impact on him and sparked a desire to follow in the footsteps of these hip-hop greats.
With an innate desire to perform, the talented artist seeks excellence in all his endeavors, whether rapping modeling or athletics. Luck is currently featured as one of the faces in an ad campaign for Invisible Bully, a hip-hop inspired street-wear clothing brand and fights in local tournaments at Bronx’s Morris Park Boxing Gym.
Through the discipline of rigorous training, Luck has honed his focus, timing and rhythm and packs a punch inside and outside of the ring. Seeking his first musical KO, Luck is prepping the release of his untitled mixtape slated for November 2015.
With a flurry of powerful tracks, like the introspective “Suicide” and remix to Common’s Grammy award-nominated 2000 hit “The Light,” Luck wants people take notice of his ability to create content, which moves people physically and emotionally. A true reflection of the urban music royalty he grew up with and wants to now carry that torch.
